Fans of Kim Kardashian know that her and husband Kanye West's oldest child, daughter North, is already a budding fashionista. The 6-year-old has her own signature style that her mom loves to show off on social media and it's clear that young North also loves to play in her mom's very enviable closet. Having a mom and an Aunt that both have their own signature makeup lines means that North also loves to experiment with makeup, something mom Kim has had no issue with in the past. Now however it seems like Kanye is putting his foot down and imposing a 'no make-up' rule for his mini-me.

Kardashian and supermodel Winnie Harlow recently launched their collaboration titled KKW x WINNIE and during an interview with E! News the mother of four revealed that her rap superstar husband had told her exactly what he thought of North experimenting with makeup.

"She loves makeup but her dad won't let her wear it," Kim explained when asked if North gave any input on her mother's latest makeup collaboration. "[Kanye] loves that there's a sheer-ish gloss that she can wear," Kim added, before noting that while North can't wear the makeup, she still loves to give makeovers.

"I think he had it, he changed all the rules," Kim told E! News. "I'd let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I'd let her wear a red lip, or I'd let her do one pop of something. I'd let her if she's wearing a black dress, a black lip."

The reality star also admitted that her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, who is known for her makeup empire that started with her signature lip kits, would often give North product for her to experiment with. "So, I kind of got in trouble for that," Kim explained. "So, it's now no more makeup."

Although North is no longer allowed to dabble in makeup, she is “absolutely” allowed to “weigh-in” on fashion choices and express herself creatively through fashion. It's not surprising that North would want to use makeup and be captivated by fashion since she's surrounded by it every day, but many are thrilled to see Kanye setting some boundaries that he feels are age-appropriate for his daughter.
