Kim Kardashian West is a busy woman. In addition to starring on her hit reality show alongside her famous family, Kardashian also runs her own incredibly successful beauty company and has just launched her own shapewear line. Between her numerous personal appearances and constant hustle, she is also the mother of four young children under the age of  6 years old. While Kardashian can no doubt afford to have some extra help around the house, she does seem to be pretty hands-on when it comes to raising her children. So how exactly does she balance motherhood with a booming career and four young children?

Kardashian recently appeared on Australian morning show Sunrise where she talked about being a successful businesswoman explaining that she's "extremely involved" in all of her businesses. When asked how she manages to balance that work with her four children with husband Kanye West, she explained that there's a very strict routine she follows. “I go to bed when the kids go to bed,” Kardashian explained. “I don’t drink, I don’t stay out late at night. So I think that really does help.”

She went on to add that there really isn't room for a lot of alteration of her schedule in order to maintain balance. “I just micromanage my day,” she continued. “I know every day I wake up at a specific time and I have my schedule set in stone and I really don’t like to veer off of that, because it’s so planned out and with four kids, you just have to be so organized. So being organized is key.”

As if being one of the most famous women in the world weren't busy enough, Kardashian is also studying to become a lawyer with hopes of taking the bar exam in 2022. Kardashian told Sunrise that her studies are "extremely time-consuming."

“It really is extremely time-consuming,” she said on Sunrise. “There are times when I just think that I can’t handle it all, but then I just take a minute to myself and really re-focus. There’s no cutting corners.” “Luckily, in California, I can do an apprenticeship for four years, where I have to study 18 hours a week,” she continued. “So it’s a lot of dedication and it’s really important to me. I really do want to pass and I take it really seriously.” Kim went on to add that "I've had to make a lot of sacrifices as far as going out and seeing friends. I've had to change my number." I really had to focus and hone in on just my studies. Any free time I have at nighttime after I put my kids to bed I just have to study," she said.
