With summer break in full swing, there are tons of fun activities for kids to do to pass the time. But let's be honest: sometimes what they really need is a nice relaxing day at home, or a movie night with the family! Luckily, Netflix has your back with their July schedule. The streaming network is here to save the day with lots of great options in movies and TV shows for kids of all ages.

Sure, we don't want them to waste their summer in front of the TV. But it's all about balance, right? And balance can be so nice and quiet. Here are some of the best movies for kids coming to Netflix in July!

Finding Neverland (available July 1)

The story of how J.M. Barrie's friendship with a family inspired him to create the wondrous world of Peter Pan and Neverland is a really special movie. It's rated PG, but can be a little slow in some spots, so maybe save this one for kids 8+.

Jurassic Park (available July 6)

The one that started it all! With Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom roaring its way through theaters right now, it was the perfect time to re-up the original movies that kicked it off. This one is PG-13, and remember, that's 1993 PG-13! Definitely a bit scary for younger kiddos, but perfect for tweens and teens. The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III are also dropping on July 6!

Disney's Bolt (available July 22)

Something for the little ones! This is one of our favorite Disney movies, hands down. The tale of a plucky stunt dog (who doesn't know he's not a real superhero) is funny, heartwarming, and full of kid-friendly animated action. Perfect for all ages!

The Princess Diaries (available July 6)

Anne Hathaway AND Julie Andrews?! Yes please! A regular teen girl finds out she's actually a princess, and her hilarious journey to the throne is one for the record books. One of our favorite movies ever! Rated G, perfect for kids of all ages.

The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants (available July 13)

OK, so while this isn't technically a movie, every kid loves Captain Underpants, right?! Try to follow along here: this series is based on the movie that was based on the popular book series. Phew! The Captain Underpants books are some of our favorites, and we loved the movie, too. This series looks absolutely fantastic. And bonus: summer reading tie-in! Tell your readers they can't watch the show until they've read some of the books. It's really kid-friendly, with some crude humor.

Which ones do you think your kids will be streaming all summer?
