It's almost the end of September, which means two things: it's officially fall, and it's almost October. October means that the weather will start to get cooler, which means that we're going to start spending more time inside watching our favorite shows and movies. When the nights get chilly, or it's raining and cold and we can't take the kids outside, what better thing to do than watch Netflix and have some popcorn or hot cocoa? There aren't many better things honestly. Since it's almost October, we know that means Netflix will be adding new movies and shows to keep the kiddos entertained.
Most of the October additions are returning favorites, but there are some spooky new additions to add to your watchlist.
One of our most anticipated new shows on Netflix in October is the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Yes, Sabrina Spellman, the half witch, half mortal, all teenager is returning. 90s kids may be a little disappointed, because this is not the same Sabrina we remember from TGIF weekends. However, all of the characters, including aunts Hilda and Zelda, cat Salem, and dreamboat Harvey will be there. The Netflix version of Sabrina will be a little darker, more along the lines of Riverdale, so it's likely more suitable for tweens and teens. It drops October 26th.
For the little ones, there are plenty of new seasons of their favorites coming back in October. Season two of Netflix show Super Monsters drops on October 5th, followed by season four of Disney's Sofia the First on October 8th. If your littles loved the first season of The Boss Baby: Back in Business, season two is coming October 12th.
