The Kardashians are, in every sense of the word, a growing family. When Khloe Kardashian joined the mommy brigade in April of 2018, she was in a relationship with basketball star Tristan Thompson. When their baby True came along, everything changed. While the two were still together, sharing parenting was not a snap, but manageable. Then in 2019, Tristan cheated on Khloe and there was a relationship meltdown.

Suddenly, Khloe was mostly on her own, with the chief responsibility for raising True.  She had to figure out a work-life balance that worked. She had to implement routines and schedules. She had to figure out what kind of parent she was going to be. While it's still a work in progress, it looks as if Khloe is a true Kardashian parent who is instilling in her daughter both a sense of family and a belief in the brand they represent. It's very Kardashian.

10 Co-Parenting Is The Only Way To Go

Basketball player Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian were all loved up for quite a while. When their daughter True Thompson was born everything was super great. Cute pictures of the parents and True popped up on social media.

Then, in 2019 came the scandal. Tristan was caught cheating with Kylie Jenner's best friend. The relationship may be over, but Khloe has gone on record saying that, while she is the primary parent, she very much believes that Tristan should have an active role in True's upbringing. And he seems to agree.

9 Hands-On - Being Actively There

Khloe K. has gone public saying that she is determined that, like her sister Kim,  she will be a hands-on parent. What does that mean exactly? Well, it means that the parent is actively involved in their child's life, paying a lot of attention, watching, and setting high levels of expectation. That's all a part of the Kardashian work ethic.

It is clear that it is working, as True is showing all the signs of a loving and happy child. She seems especially close to Kim and Kanye West's youngest, Chicago. Tristan is less involved in her upbringing, but when he is there he provides love and support to both his girls.

8 Prioritize Your Schedule To Emphasize Family

Say what you will, the Kardashians are not afraid of hard work. Khloe is a busy reality TV star and businesswoman with a no-nonsense approach to her career. To a certain extent, that changed when True came along.

2019's People's Choice Reality Star of the Year has said that she now strives to prioritize her time to emphasize, not only True but also her siblings and Grandma Kris Jenner. There is more balance in her life now. Parenthood, she says, has changed everything. For the better, we hope.

7 Celebrate Birthdays And Holidays In Style

The Kardashians know how to throw a party. But that's not the point. Khloe believes that life and its special events should be joyously acknowledged. And so when True turned one, there was a family party. Khloe believes that children should be celebrated and made to feel special.

And Thanksgiving and Christmas? It's not about how many presents there are under the tree, but rather the joy and happiness family brings into life. The Kardashians go through good and bad times very much as a unit. We think True is one lucky little girl.

6 Involving Family Is Important

OK, the picture is obviously Photo-Shopped, but it makes a point. The Kardashian-Jenner clan is a close-knit family that looks after one another. Khloe, like her sisters, believes in looking after her own. That was instilled in her at an early age, mostly by her father Robert.

Khloe involves her sisters in the raising of her daughter, as they do Khloe in the upbringing of their children. Of course, Granny Kris Jenner has her say. Khloe has gone on record saying she has learned a lot about parenting from her sisters, particularly Kim.

5 Capture The Moment

Khloe and the rest of the Kardashians take a lot of pictures and videos. Sure, it's about social media posting, but it's also because they have a sense of not letting even the ordinary moments go unnoticed.

As Kim has said, again and again, the kids grow up so fast and without the pictures, you lose track of how far they have come. Khloe, like her sisters, takes lots and lots of pictures, some for social media and some for personal use. And anyway, when True grows up she can pull them out and embarrass her. "Weren't you just the cutest . . ."

4 Routine, Routine And  A  Bit Of Fun

Khloe appreciates that routine and schedule are important when raising children. There should be variety in what goes on, but she believes there should be a structure to the days and set bedtimes. That gives a child certainty and stability.

So, there is feeding time, out and about time and, of course, playtime. She does not follow a hard and fast schedule, but there is enough routine and certainty to make it work. True seems to be thriving.

3 Social Media Is A-OK

If you post on social media, some people are going to love you and some people are going to hate you. That's just a simple fact of life. Khloe says I will post cute pictures of me and my baby and the world can be darned.

She believes that it is important that True learns that you can't control what other people think. And besides, the little girl has got to learn what life in the spotlight is like. It's an important life-lesson for her. She will, almost certainly, like North West and her other cousins, join the Kardashian brand one day. And Khloe knows that.

2 Beautiful Inside And Out

It's important for Khloe that True has a sense of what it is like to be a Kardashian. The social media thing is part of it. But a personal sense of grooming and style is also key. So, when they go out in public, they are both turned out immaculately.

And the kid looks as if she is already getting it. The pose she is striking is classic Kardashian. Reportedly, as a little girl, Kim pronounced she would be famous one day. That's the Kardashian way. And, yes, we realize this is another Photoshopped Kardashian picture. Are there any that aren't?

1 Don't Hand It Over On A Plate

Khloe has praised her parents Robert and Kris for instilling a strong work ethic in their children. Sure, the Kardashians have a lot, a heck of a lot of everything. But, it is also true to say that they have worked their backsides off, pushed on by Momager Kris.

Khloe wants to pass that down to True. She wants her to learn to work for what she wants and not to have it handed over on a silver platter. That too is the Kardashian way.
