The Kardashians are certainly no stranger to controversy. It seems that no matter what they do, there is always someone to point out how it's wrong. This week it's new mother Khloé Kardashian's turn to be shamed for her lifestyle and parenting choices.

Khloé posted a video of her little daughter True playing in a little toy Bentley, complete with pink sparkly paintjob. Although many people would just see it as an adorable little snippet of the child having fun, some took to shaming Khloé for "promoting materialism".

One of Khloé's followers commented "Great, another kardashian in a Bentley. You guys are so oblivious to how your excessive spending looks to the outside world. I really loved your family's story and now just can't bare to watch you spend all this money on worthless materialism. It's so sad." YIkes. A pretty strong response to a cute video of a child playing.

Khloé is known for being probably the most direct and humorous Kardashian. Even people who don't like the Kardashians, usually can't help but like Khloé. Her response was kind, and perfect. She stated "ummm you do know this is not a real Bentley? It's a toy no reason to get sad over a baby in a toy car. either way i'm sorry you feel that way but I hope you have a great weekend! Focus on things that make you happy! Smile 😊"

Just another day in the land of mom shaming. Why is it that once you have a baby your choices are viewed as public property? There's a lot of things that can be said about the Kardashians, but can we let a cute video just be what it is please?

Ultimately it was nice that Khloé's response was kind. It would have been easy to get all worked up about it, but focusing on the positive is always better. Whatever the Kardashians do, there is bound to be attention, and with it, criticism. However, let's all try and remember that they are people too, and just because they are in the public eye it doesn't mean they necessarily need to live how you would like them to.
