Time is a funny thing it seems to pass too quickly and go so slow at the same time. There are events that happened years ago that we swear just happened. Every mom knows this feeling when they watch their children grow up right in front of their eyes. Celebrity parents know this too, and we get to go on the ride with them. It seems like yesterday when Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise welcomed a little girl into the world. Now, it seems impossible to believe that Suri is all grown up.
Katie and Suri are doing what we all are, and that is staying home to stay safe. This means that they are working on some new projects to fight boredom. It appears that the recent fad for them was tie dye. Katie posted a picture on her Instagram account of the finished products and while it was rather vague, we got to see just how much Suri has grown.
There are no faces in the picture, as Katie has kept Suri off social media for the most part, but the picture speaks a thousand words. The mom and daughter are standing next to each other and judging by that alone, we can see just how much Suri has grown. She is just as tall as her mother –maybe even taller.
It is a bit hard to tell, but Katie is on the right and that is Suri on the left. The finished projects look great, and a lot of people in the comment section thought so too. However, their creations got less attention because no one could get over how big Suri has gotten. Most were shocked that Suri now looked like a young woman and not the little girl that everyone still assumed that she was.
She is not quite an adult yet, having just turned 14 on April 18th, but she sure looks like she is on her way to becoming one. She will likely always be that perfect mix of Tom and Katie that we all remember and love. Hopefully soon we can all get just a small glimpse of her face. We are dying to know if who she looks like more now.
