'Tis the season for celebrities to post their holiday pictures on their social media sites, sharing their gorgeous families with the world. We've seen Kim Kardashian's low key card, and Denise Richards' traditional card showing just how grown up her daughters are becoming, but actress Kate Hudson's family Christmas card is showing that her entire family takes the holiday MERRY seriously!
In the festive snap, Hudson, her three children, and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa all very seriously committed to the Christmas theme. Hudson and Fujikawa are both decked out in fair isle print from head to toe, while Hudson sports a Christmas tree hat and a green festive cardigan that is inspired by a Christmas tree. The couple's adorable 14-month-old daughter, Rani Rose, sits between them dressed equally festive. Hudson's almost 16-year-old son Ryder Russell leans against the truck wearing Buffalo plaid pajama pants and a Christmas sweater while 8-year-old son Bingham “Bing” Hawn wears sits behind his mom wearing a Christmas suit. Both boys are also wearing Christmas tree hats and mothers everywhere are left to wonder how she convinced the entire family to dress up for this amazing holiday photo!?
The actress captioned the photo, "We take Christmas MERRY seriously...#SeeHowIDidThat #DontMessWithOurXmasGame."
The couple is joined by their two dogs in the snap as well. Not only did Hudson's fans love this sweet and festive picture, but her famous friends couldn't help but chime in in the comments section. Noting just how much Fujikawa is resembling one Mr. Kris Kringle in the picture, with his full beard and glasses sitting low on his nose, comedian Chelsea Handler couldn't help but ask, "Is that Mr Klaus?" Katie Couric replied writing "SO cute" while Courtney Cox showed her love of the picture commenting with three 'applause' and one heart emoji.
Hudson seems to have come by her Christmas spirit honestly. Her parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell who starred in last year's Netflix hit The Christmas Chronicles will be reprising their roles as Santa and Mrs. Clause in next year's sequel, The Christmas Chronicles 2. Hudson's brother, Oliver Hudson also had a role in the original family movie so who knows if Hudson herself may make an appearance in the sequel?
