Lacey Chabert is an actress we have watched grow up before our eyes. From her start as Erica’s daughter on All My Children to her run as Claudia on the original Party Of Five, from Mean Girls to being a Hallmark Channel queen, audiences have seen Chabert change from a little girl to a mature woman. And now, she is a wife and a mother to Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar!
While Chabert posts quite often on her social media pages about work, she’s very private when it comes to her personal life. Chabert quietly married her longtime boyfriend, David Nehdar, back in 2013, and welcomed daughter Julia in 2016. But since David is not in the entertainment industry, she’s respectful of keeping their relationship private. And while there are some pictures of her daughter scattered throughout her Hallmark movie posts on her Instagram page, Chabert has taken to only showing the back of Julia’s head as her daughter’s grown older.

9 Reasons To Be Thankful
Even though her mom is one of Hallmark Channel’s biggest stars, Julia is never far behind when Chabert is on location. When Chabert was in Canada, last November working on Winter In Vail, she took a break from filming on America’s Thanksgiving Day to appreciate all that surrounds her. With Julia by her side, the two took a moment to take in the breathtaking mountains near the movie’s film location in Calgary.
“Thankful beyond measure for all of the love in my life. I hope you all had a wonderful day,” Chabert wrote, using hashtags like family and God is good.
8 Trick Or Treat
Trick or treating on Halloween is a childhood rite of passage. Last Halloween, Mom and daughter were pretty princesses, with costumes that would make any movie costume designer proud! With Chabert dressed as Snow White from Snow White And The Seven Dwarves and Julia dressed as a pint-sized Belle from Beauty & The Beast, the two set out on a Halloween journey.
7 A Magical Birthday Celebration
Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. So of course, it was the perfect place for Julia to celebrate her third birthday last year. And it looks like meeting Olaf the snowman from Frozen was a highlight of the birthday girl’s day! “Our happy place,” mom wrote of the adventure.

Taking time off from work to hang out with her little girl and one of her besties is important to Chabert. Like the time that she and actress Kimberly Joy Brown spent a summer afternoon at a park with Julia — and made it a priority to ride the carousel. We wonder which horse was Julia’s favorite?

Aw! When Julia was two years old, she begged her mom to go see the Easter bunny. But by the time it was her turn to sit in the fuzzy rabbit’s lap and take a picture, the toddler refused to look at him! We can relate, mama! 4 Visits With Great-Grandma
Her connections with her family are also important to Chabert, who often posts pictures with her siblings on Instagram and has them visit her when she’s on location. At the heart of Chabert’s family was her beloved grandmother, Sue. Unfortunately, grandmother passed away last year, but she wrote that she feels so thankful that her Nanny got to know Julia. With “endless stories” and plenty of photographs of them together, Chabert is able to keep her Nanny’s memory alive for her daughter.

1 Set Life
Chabert has found a balance between being a working actress and being a mom. And a big part of that is because she’s able to bring Julia on location with her. Chabert has always dreamed of being able to do what she loves and make a living while doing it with her little girl right next to her. This particular photo on the set of All Of My Heart: The Wedding was extra-special for Chabert because the makeup artist, Sandy, is the same woman who did her makeup for the Party Of Five pilot when Chabert was a little kid!
