Jon and Kate Gosselin have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, and while Kate has largely kept quiet about the couple's split Jon has been more open to speaking to the press. The father of 8 recently sat down with Dr. Oz again to discuss recent allegations that he had abused his son, Collin and blamed his ex-wife for his estrangement from six of his children.

In a sneak peek at the upcoming episode featuring the former reality star, Gosselin tells Dr. Oz that it's been two years since he's spoken to his 20-year-old twins Mady and Cara as well as four of his 16-year-old sextuplets, Leah, Alexis, Joel, and Aaden, ENews! reports. When asked why it has been so long Gosselin quickly replies, "parent alienation," before adding, "and now sibling alienation" stating that his children who live with Kate no longer speak to Collin and Hannah who live with Jon.

"And now they're shunning Hannah and Colin," Jon stated, adding the reason is that, "mom's intervening," once again blaming his ex-wife for his lack of communication with his children. He then added that Kate listed the family's home for sale and didn't inform Hannah, which upset his daughter. "I told Hannah and she was super upset," he told the talk show host. "She was pretty much upset that that was her childhood home, her mother selling it, didn't even call her to say, 'Hey, do you want any of your stuff or anything? Hey, I need to sell this house.' There is no contact."

Kate has yet to reply to her ex-husband's claims of parental alienation, but she did speak out back in September after Collin's abuse claims. "I am done hiding and will say this unequivocally: Jon is a violent and abusive person,” the mother of 8 told PEOPLE.

Gosselin told Dr. Oz in a US Weekly exclusive clip that the only way he thinks his family can truly heal and that he and Kate can co-parent all their children is possibly through an "intervention through the child," adding that he's "left that in their court."  He went on to add that “I’m just focused on the two that are living with me because there’s so much going on with therapies and work and COVID and everything else.” He also thinks that his children need to speak out. “I think the kids need to talk,” Jon told Dr. Oz. “I mean, I’m giving them the outlet of, ‘If you want to talk to the public because you’re public  you have every opportunity to do these things.'”
