Former reality star Jon Gosselin is speaking out against his ex-wife Kate Gosselin in a new interview, stating 'It's time America found out the truth about Kate, she isn't the person you think she is.” This isn’t the first time that Jon has bashed Kate publicly since their split ten years ago, this time stating that their son Collin wrote him a letter begging him to “save him” from his mother.

Kate had sent Collin away to a school that deals with behavioral issues back in 2016, telling PEOPLE at the time that “Collin has special needs,” something Jon alleges was done without his knowledge, and that Collin only has ADHD which is common among children and didn’t require him to be sent away to a special school. The father of 8 told DailyMail TV that he received a letter from his son telling him that he wanted to come and live with him. “Dear Dad, I’m not trying to trick you, but I still love you,” Collin, 15, wrote the letter.

“I told I want to live with you, she said no. But right? She can’t choose for me. I’m old enough now, I’m YOUR son, not hers. She was abusive to me after I left your house. I’m sorry. Take this to court because … you’re my dad, my savior.” He went on to write, “Please help me and let me meet Colleen [Jon’s girlfriend]. I’m counting on you to get me out of here. Daddy, I love you. Save me. Please come FAST. I love you. Help me. BYE.”

Jon, who now has custody of two of his sextuplets, Collin and daughter Hannah, says that his son now suffers from PTSD from his three years spent away from home. “Kate … couldn’t deal with him,” Jon stated. “He was alone for three and a half years with no parents, all alone. It was inhumane. I know my children have suffered abuse and I know one day they're going to tell their own story,” Jon said. ”And sadly enough, I know what PTSD is. It's really upsetting.”

Jon also claims that although two of his eight children are now living with him, he doesn’t have a relationship with his other children and that’s because of Kate. “I think Kate has really poisoned my children's minds against me,” he said. “She's put stuff in their minds about my personality. I never cheated on my wife, I'm not a monster, I love my children more than anything,” he added. “I brought Collin home. He's a great kid. I want the family unit together, I even want to co-parent.”

The IT Professional claims that now that his children are older, he wants to “set the record straight.” “There's a lot of stuff I want to dispel - there's a lot of untruths,” he said. ”I have watched my children suffer and I have not been able to say a word,” he added before saying, “I know everything. I lived it with her and without her. So I know every single thing that has transpired and what has been portrayed to the American public, it's not all true.”

Jon currently has sole physical and legal custody of Collin whom he says is doing really well living with him. “He's an honor roll student. He's really smart, he's really intuitive, I'm very proud of him,” Jon says.

Kate has yet to comment on Jon’s statement.
