A lot of people have been following the drama unfold between Kate Gosselin, Jon Gosselin and their son Colin. Kate and Jon both became household names after they chronicled their lives in Jon & Kate Plus 8 and the world watched as they raised twins and sextuplets. They watched as Jon and Kate’s marriage fell apart, and as the children grew older. Then there was issues with Colin, one of the sextuplets, after his mother sent him to boarding school and the relationship fell apart.
Colin went to live with his father, and he had recently made a post about how well he was doing and everyone appeared to be relieved that he was finally happy living with his dad, having no contact with his mother. That is why fans found it odd that just a few days later, Colin had accused someone of assaulting him and all fingers pointed at Jon. It just seems to get more and more confusing for this family and all of their fans.
According to People, Collin Gosselin had accused his dad of physically assaulting him, or at least the report said that there was an alleged physical attack which caused “bodily injury to a child through recent act: hitting/punching.” Jon’s name was not ever named in the report, but that hasn’t stopped people from speculating that it was him who had attacked Colin.
We are now seeing a war of words again, as Kate has made a statement regarding the incident. Kate made a statement to People that said, “you do not punch and kick your children. I don’t want to hear any excuses from anyone, not from his father, not from local law enforcement, not from court personnel whose job is supposedly to ensure the best interests of my children.”
Jon was going to make sure that he had the last word as he also had something to say. He told Daily Mail that Kate has not seen her son in five years and she has no reason to act like a “caring mother.” He said this is especially true when their son has these mental health issues because of the times she “abused” him.
Jon stated that Collin has PTSD because of her. The outlet also reported that the investigation was “shelved within 24 hours” by the local authorities and it alleges that Collin had made up this story when he “wasn’t getting his way.”
