JoJo Siwa is an inspiration to a lot of little girls out there. Her positive, bubbly attitude combined with lots of unicorns and glitter is what dreams are made of for a lot of people out there. She is an out-of-this-world personality, and she has branched into a music career now too. She is constantly on tour with her sparkly outfits and we can not forget the big bows. JoJo’s bows are a must-have product for any girl out there.

We can not forget how JoJo get her start though, she is a trained dancer and she was on the show Dance Moms with Abby Lee Miller. Dance Moms was a reality show, following the lives of young dancers and their mothers. It was under the run of a harsh and often mean leader, Abby Lee. The show was full of drama, and it was mostly between the moms and Abby. Abby was extremely hard on the girls when they didn’t perform the way that she wanted them to. This led to some pretty memorable moments that we can not forget.

JoJo was involved in quite a few of them, and she has decided to recreate the moment with her mom. The moment was when JoJo was to perform a dance inspired by the movie Carrie, before the dance, she was told to go home and watch the movie. JoJo’s mom did not think this was a good idea, and did not let her daughter watch the horror movie. When Abby was not happy with JoJo’s performance, she said that it would have been better if she had done what she was asked.

What followed were comments from Abby stating that JoJo ‘acted like a 5-year-old’ and that she deserves nothing. Abby proceeds to make a bunch of threats on how maybe JoJo doesn’t need to be a part of the dance company, and a young JoJo starts to (understandably) get upset and start crying. Abby doesn’t approve of this and says that she will have ‘no crying children,’ to which JoJo responds, “well if you yell at me, I’m going to cry.’

This was made possibly by a recorded audio that JoJo and her mom used to recreate the moment, and the acting was on point. Of course, it is easy to act something out if you have already lived it. The throwback nostalgia was something we all needed during this time, and we hope to see more of JoJo and her mom.
