We know that Disneyland and Walt Disney World are called the Happiest Places on Earth. And they are! They're full of magic and whimsy and more fun than one person could possibly endure for an extended period of time. We love all things Disney, and we always will. But because we love Disney so much, we feel as though we've earned the right to say this: those parks have the potential to be absolutely disastrous. If you go as an adult, cool! Adults are, for the most part, patient and understanding and can change course very quickly and adapt to less-than-ideal circumstances.

But who spends the most time at Disney parks? Families! Families with kids. Kids who, for the most part, are NOT patient, NOT understanding, CANNOT change course or adapt quickly to less-than-ideal circumstances. If you've ever been to a Disney park with your kids, then you know: it is not for the faint of heart. Which is what one comedian absolutely nailed in a spoof video about what it's like to be a parent at Disney. This is too real, you guys.

John Crist is a comedian, and believe it or not, he doesn't even have any kids! But he got the whole parent-at-Disney thing so right, he'll obviously be a great dad one day. The thing about a trip to Disney is, it will never go 100% right. It just won't! You can plan and map and budget for four years, and you will STILL be faced with approximately 189274 surprise situations or meltdowns or unexpected obstacles. Whether it's incredibly long lines (do those ever not happen?), a creepy character who gets a little too close for comfort, or just your kids whining about it being too hot/cold/crowded/loud, a trip to Disney is filled with joyful moments like the ones John poked fun at.

We seriously cracked up during this entire video. His faces! The bubbling rage just beneath the surface! The refusal to wait in line for an hour and a half for a ride! It's all very real, and maybe for some of you, still a little raw. Watch the video, we promise you'll be nodding along throughout the entire thing.
