Every woman who has ever had to deal with losing the baby weight knows it can be frustrating. No matter what your size or shape, bodies change after having a baby and it can often be a struggle to lose that weight that was gained during pregnancy, especially after having multiple children. Jessica Simpson has been very open over the years about her fluctuating weight especially during and after her three pregnancies, even becoming the spokeswoman for Weight Watchers at one point, but now the singer, actress, and designer is celebrating a 100-pound weight loss since welcoming daughter Birdie Mae six months ago.

The mother of three proudly showed off her slimmed-down postpartum figure in a picture on Instagram. "6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240)", the actress revealed in the caption. "My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder."

Simpson, who looks gorgeous no matter what her weight is, showed off her amazing weight loss in a long black dress with a cinched belt at the waist. Fortunately for Simpson, she has worked with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak who told E! News about helping the star lose the baby weight. "This particular baby no. 3 was... I think she commented to the press that she tipped the scales at 240 lbs, that's not coming from me, she mentioned that in a post. So, we had our work cut out for us and perhaps more so on this baby than the others."

He explained that Simpson did a lot of walking in her daily training regimen, logging at least 14,000 steps a day once she had recovered from giving birth. He also helped Simpson alter her diet so she was making healthier choices and getting enough sleep. He then began doing full-body workouts with Simpson that he changed weekly.  "We slowly ramped those up; we started really easy and slowly increased them. We started with doing a full-body workout, one set of each exercise, not really doing too much intensity per body part and gradually increasing the volume and intensity. Focusing on a few muscle groups per day. Different muscles each day of the week."

He also said that Simpson, who has worked with Pasternak for 12 years, told the celebrity trainer that she was ready for a complete lifestyle change. "We were kind of just getting in shape between kids and now it was sort of ok, I want to look fierce again and look great, confident and energized and I want to do it in a sustainable way. That was her main goal," he told E!.

She looks amazing and we're thrilled to hear she's feeling healthier than ever.
