Former MTV star Jenelle Evans had reason to celebrate recently when she regained custody of her children, Kaiser, and Ensley, after the two were removed from her home by Child Protective Services. The children were removed after Evans' husband, David Eason, admitted to killing the family's French bulldog Nugget after the dog allegedly bit Ensley in the face while CPS investigated.
Ensley was placed in the care of Evans' mom Barbara, who also has custody of Evans' oldest son Jace, while Kaiser was placed in the care of his father, Nathan Griffith. In a now-deleted tweet, Griffith commented on his son being placed back with Evans writing, "I’ve calmed down a bit and just relying on my faith at this moment," US Weekly reports.
"I’m not going to put my two cents in but if anyone wants to put their input, you can visit: https://t.co/7eYlIm8dsX to complete a survey. Any input will help. The judge’s name is Pauline Hankins. TY #TeamGriffith." The link leads people to a site allowing them to officially file a complaint about the judge's ruling.
Griffith wasn't the only one who was upset with the judge's ruling. Barbara Evans spoke with RadarOnline and said that returning the children to the care and custody of her daughter and Eason was "an injustice to the children," adding "we are all sick to our stomachs." It seems that Barbara's real issue with is Eason, stating he's "just is the same person he normally is. He’s not going to change. He is an evil f**king person." she told RO. "I’m going to fight for these children," she added.
Jenelle has said she's "super grateful and happy" to have her children back in an Instagram story she posted showing the family celebrating the 4th of July holiday together. The mother of three and stepmother to Eason's daughter Maryssa replied to comments on Instagram from fans and critics alike. She said that both Kaiser and Ensley are 'happy as can be' to be home with her, posting a picture of the toddlers smiling while on a boat ride during a family outing.
She also stated that everyone was doing great since the family was reunited and that they were "super grateful and happy." She also insinuated that she will continue to fight her mother for full-time custody of Jace.
Evans wrote that the case with Child Protective Services is officially closed stating that "evidence was basically all hearsay."
She did take a moment to comment on her ex as well when one follower asked her if she thought her and Griffith's custody arrangement should be kept the same. "There's a lot of details behind why there is supervised visits with Nathan," the former reality star wrote, without going into any details.
Evans posted pictures of her and Eason's blended family enjoying the 4th of July festivities at the beach to a mixture of supportive and critical comments from followers.
Although Jenelle is 'ecstatic' to have her family back together, she will no doubt face future custody fights from both Griffith and her mother Barbara.
