It's no secret that the Duggar family is religious. But they still interact with the world around them. However, if they don't agree with it, they will allegedly take matters into their own hands. At least, Jana Duggar will. She is being accused of adding longer skirts to women in a recent Instagram post.
"Stopped by the Tontitown Grape Festival!" reads the posts caption. Jana is in the forefront of the picture, but obviously there are other festival goers in the background. The two women off to Duggar's side were obviously wearing pants, but they weren't up to her standards. So she gave them knee-length skirts to cover up a little bit. Of course, it's not her call to decide what these women are wearing. But, she is very religious, so that's probably playing a factor in why she felt that was a good idea.
Many of her followers aren't particularly surprised by her actions. If you're a longtime fan of the family, you know many of the Duggar girls don't ever wear pants. Wearing only skirts or dresses is staying in line with their parent's beliefs. Jana herself is wearing a striped dress that hits around her knees, just the like the fake skirts are.
"It is her page and she is allowed to share what she sees fit, but what is not acceptable is imposing her own standards on other people without their consent," reads one comment. "The Duggars expect to have their beliefs and standards respected; to not extend the same basic courtesy to other people is hypocritical to say the least."
Giving part much less detail, it's kind of hard to see the setup. But in Jana's picture, it's clear that she wasn't alone. In fact, it looks like one of the men in the background could be giving the middle finger.
"I guess you were too occupied with covering the girls thighs, you didn't notice," reads one comment pointing out the offense. It's safe to say that if the Duggars are opposed to bare thighs, they certainly won't be okay with someone flipping the bird.
Despite her choice, Duggar is nothing but smiles in the snap.
