Divorce is never an easy thing for anyone to do. It is the ending of a marriage and a partnership, and sometimes it is the end of parenting. When there are children involved in a divorce, most want to make sure it is as smooth as possible for the family so that the children are not as affected by the split. Jaime King and Kyle Newman filed for divorce 6 months ago, but instead of trying to move forward, there have been a lot of bumps in the road.
According to 1News, the divorce battle continues between the two but it has been described as “ugly and messy” but they have reportedly been trying to do the best they can for the sake of their two young children.
A source has said that the pair of them can have a temper, and Jaime can be very impulsive at times which has been a recipe for disaster throughout this divorce, which Jaime filed for in May. Soon after Jaime filed for divorce, she also had a restraining order issued against Kyle and he could not come within 100 yards of her. Court documents had outlined instances where Kyle had been “aggressive and emotionally manipulative” towards Jaime. Claims that he has denied.
Jaime also said that Kyle had cameras installed in her home without her permission and this was before he took their children to Pennsylvania. Kyle feels that these allegations have come with no chance for him to respond and noted that he has been the parent for their children during this whole pandemic, and that he is focused on his children’s stability. He has stated that he hope that Jaime can find the peace that she needs.
Kyla as also claimed that Jaime is the reason their marriage fell apart, because she is a “chronic drug addict and alcoholic.” These are just the few instances of trouble within this divorce, that is likely going to have an affect on their children. The pair have two young boys, aged 7 and 5, and if divorce was a war, then children can be the innocent bystanders that get caught in friendly fire.
Couple who are fighting in Hollywood have to remember that their children are going to grow up one day, and everything you do as a celebrity is recorded, written down and scrutinized and their children will be able to access all of this information that should be private.
