Everything You Need To Know About ItsFunneh

If you have a gamer, then you are probably very familiar with at least some of the popular gamer channels on YouTube. It's not enough to just play the games - they want to watch OTHER people play games like Roblox and Fortnite and Minecraft. Admittedly, it all seems a little strange to us, but we can sort of see the appeal! The gamer channels that do game-play videos are pretty entertaining, and you can pick up a lot of tips and tricks while watching them. One of the more popular gamers on YouTube is someone called ItsFunneh.

ItsFunneh is a young woman from Canada who posts gamer videos and vlogs about the adventures of her and the Krew. She's everywhere right now - VidCon, the YouTube Gaming Summit, all over social media. But who is ItsFunneh? And how did she turn a love of games into an actual social media empire?

ItsFunneh is the brainchild of Canadian gamer Katherine, known as Kat. She's just 24 years old, but has created quite the name for herself thanks to her funny and engaging videos. Many of her videos feature the Krew: GoldenGlare (Kim), DraconiteDragon (Allen), LunarEclipse (Wenny), and PaintingRainbows (Betty). All the members of the Krew are Kat's siblings, which is kind of cool! Kat and her family live in Canada, and growing up, they worked in their parent's restaurant. The Krew also has three doggo members: Floof, Reignhart, and Pupper. Her YouTube channel currently has almost 5 million subscribers, and her most popular videos are the ones she does that feature the whole Krew. Most of her gaming videos are about Roblox and Minecraft, but she does occasionally play other games, or introduce her fans to new games.

How Did ItsFunneh Begin?

Kat started the ItsFunneh channel back in 2011, and has since amassed over 4 billion views on her various videos. She was still in high school when she got her start, and actually shelved the channel for a bit while she focused on school. Once she graduated, she returned to the channel and started pumping out gaming content on a regular basis. In the beginning, most of her videos were done in collaboration with her sister Kim, herself a YouTuber under the name GoldenGlare.

What Is ItsFunneh’s Net Worth?

ItsFunneh has an estimated net worth of around $10 million, which she earns through her channel, merchandise sales, and paid appearances. With an average of 5 million unique views a day, ItsFunneh would generate approximately $7.3 million in ad revenue alone. Her ItsFunneh and Krew merchandise is also incredibly popular among fans, and she sells everything from t-shirts to backpacks to little plush dolls in the Krew's likenesses.

But her YouTube videos are still the main draw, and she manages her channel really well. ItsFunneh posts videos daily, and also does live streams, Q&A sessions, and vlogs about her life and the Krew. Prior to 2019, Kat and the Krew operated the channel anonymously. But after reaching 4 million subscribers and promising her fans a Q&A, she did a face reveal to unveil the people behind ItsFunneh and all their content. Since then, Kat and the Krew have appeared in several videos.

In addition to the ItsFunneh channel, they operate five other channels on YouTube: the Krew, PaintingRainbows, GoldenGlare, Lunar Eclipse, and DraconiteDragon.

Is ItsFunneh Kid-Friendly?

As far as gamer channels go on YouTube, it is pretty kid-friendly! ItsFunneh and the Krew don't use profanity or discuss adult-themed topics, and they keep a generally lighthearted and fun vibe on all their videos. Keep in mind that some of the games they play might not be age-appropriate for younger players; Roblox and Minecraft are very popular, but there is some cartoonish violence and players can die or be killed in the games. Her non-gaming videos are also kid-friendly, showcasing the Krew eating or cooking or exploring new cities.

For tween and teen gamers, ItsFunneh is a great channel to follow on YouTube, and if you're already aware of the content of those particular games, then you really have nothing to worry about when it comes to their videos.
