If you're looking for a marketing genius, one boy in Utah just might be your guy! According to a Facebook post released by the Brigham City Police Department, multiple calls were placed about a boy with a lemonade stand that was a bit... unusual. Apparently, this stand was selling "ICE COLD BEER", according to the signs set up by the boy.

The police went to go investigate, and found that the boy was actually selling root beer. The signs were just a very clever and cheeky marketing ploy. One that was working out well for him apparently. Judging by the calls to police, he definitely got the attention he was looking for!

The sign had "ICE COLD BEER" in large letters, with "Root" also written in smaller, harder to see text. Very smart. This strategy certainly turned heads, and according to the Facebook post by the police, business was going well for the boy.

The lemonade stand is something that we all remember, and certainly can admire in the modern world, when a child can set up shop and get to hustling. In the heat of summer, who can turn down a refreshing drink, while also supporting a small business. And whats a smaller, more local business than a good old-fashioned lemonade stand?

This story went on to get over 3 thousand likes and 5.5 thousand shares on Facebook. Everyone loves a kid with some moxie, and this kid must have plenty. Not only the initiative to start a stand, but the sales and marketing strategy to come up with such a solid plan to attract attention- it's brilliant! We may have to keep our eyes peeled for this one in the future, if he keeps his business savvy.

Ultimately, as far as police calls go, this is a great one. Nobody harmed or in trouble- just a quirky funny story to catch the interest of people everywhere. So if you are trying to advertise a business, take notice! Your best bet might be to grab their attention, lure them in, then worry about the details later. You never know, it just might work!
