Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson is part of one of the most controversial reality TV families out there, and no, we're not talking about the Kardashians. The teen posted a selfie last week, along with the caption, "It's OK not to be OK sometimes it's hard to follow your heart doesn't mean you losing everybody bruising (sic)." The Jesse J lyric clearly hit a chord with fans, who offered an abundance of support for the child star. Many of Alana's followers believe that 14-year-old is referencing her current situation.

Thompson family matriarch June was arrested on drug charges earlier this year. As a result, Alana moved in with her sister, Lauren "Pumpkin" Shannon. It's alleged that June has little interest in getting Alana back, as she has no plans to break up with her current boyfriend, Geno Doak.

It's thought Mama June has also sold her house so she can live with Geno in an RV. While she may not have the support of her mother, the youngster certainly has the support of her sister and her adoring fans, who commented on the post telling her to "Stay strong." One user said, "You are such a strong girl. Keep your head up, things will get better soon."

The family has been plagued by scandal ever since they stepped into the spotlight. June has been in relationships with more than one convicted sex offender. First, the father of her daughters Jessica and Lauryn was charged with trying to meet with a minor he was talking to online for sexual purposes. Perhaps most famously, she also dated Mark McDaniel, who was convicted for abusing her eldest daughter Anna. Her latest boyfriend, Geno Doak, doesn't have a clean track record either, having served jail time for a variety of crimes including burglary and theft.

Alana became the breakout star of the TLC series Toddlers & Tiaras when she was just five years old. Audiences became so enamored with the Georgia family that they were soon granted their own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The series ran for a successful four seasons until the network canceled it following the controversy surrounding June's romantic ties.
