Add another celebrity to the Baby Watch 2018 list. Hilary Duff is pregnant with baby number two!
The Younger star took to Instagram to announce her big news, even revealing that the bun she has in the oven is a little girl.
"Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!!" she captioned the sweet pic, which features herself and the father-to-be enjoying a hug and kiss.
Hilary is already mom to son Luca, 6, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie, but this will be her first child with Matthew, a singer/songwriter, whom she has been dating since March 2017. The couple briefly split, but got back together last December and have been inseparable ever since.
The actress has been very open about the joys of motherhood, but isn't afraid to keep it real. She's the first to admit that after her marriage ended, being a divorced parent "sucked" and wasn't afraid to fire back at haters who took issue with her giving Luca a kiss on the lips.
"For anyone commenting that a kiss on the lips with my four year old is 'inappropriate' go ahead and click unfollow with your warped minds and judgment," she tweeted.
You tell 'em, Hilary.
This is a big week of baby news for the Duff family. Older sister Haylie gave birth to her second child, Lulu Gray, on Tuesday. She's also mom to a three-year-old daughter Ryan Ava with husband Matt Rosenberg.
Fans are thrilled for the 30-year-old, who first rose to fame as the star of the hit Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire in the early aughts. A slew of comments rolled in as soon as Hilary posted her news, all of which offered congratulations on the big announcement.
There was, of course, one concerned fan who hopes this doesn't mean Hilary's Younger character Kelsey will have to be pregnant on-screen. Now that's a story line that would harshly contrast with the show's current arc, which depicts Kelsey loving life as she juggles two (very different but equally gorgeous) guys. Adding a baby to the mix would certainly change the character's mojo and add a dynamic we're entirely sure would fit with the Younger vibe. But, hey, television has a history of covering or distracting from baby bumps so that the actress's personal life doesn't have to play into a character's, so we think Kelsey will be just fine.
Congats to the happy couple and soon-to-be-parents!
