The Hershey’s Kisses Cereal has suddenly arrived in stores, and it’s definitely worth the wait. The cereal was rumoured to be released in 2020, but it seems like General Mills decided to give it to the world as a Christmas treat. For this holiday season, instead of Christmas cookies, you can now treat yourself to a bowl of Hershey’s Kisses cereal!

The small treat is so iconic that people recognize its shape right away. The teardrop-like packaging shape with the paper reading “KISSES” coming out of the top has been engraved into our minds as associating it with the Hershey’s brand. Now, we can find that distinct look and taste in a bowl of cereal. We can now get the kisses we want in the morning.

The much-anticipated cereal was originally scheduled to be released in 2020, or so the rumours have said. YouTuber Tami Dunn has showed us that the coveted box of goods has arrived on store shelves. She bought one and reviewed it on her channel. She confirms that it retails for around $4, and the chocolate milk left after you’ve had the cereal is as delightful as you would imagine.

The Hershey’s Kisses Cereal is part of General Mills' line of bringing dessert to breakfast. In the past, they have released cereals in all the treats that we grew up enjoying and still do to this day. In most cereal aisles in grocery stores, you will be able to find Twinkie, Oreo, Drumstick and Sour Patch Kids in cereal form. While they might not be the healthiest breakfast option, they are worthy sweet morning treats for those days you deserve a little reward.

Generally, it’s not an amazing idea to start your day with a whole load of sugar. However, there are the days that you can treat your kids (and yourself) to a bowl of chocolatey goodness. Especially if Kisses are your favourite candy, the new cereal by General Mills is sure to bring some morning smiles. In fact, you don’t even have to wait for breakfast to eat it. The dessert-turned-breakfast can also be turned back into a post-meal treat!
