With Halloween just around the corner, you know what that means, that there will be some Halloween treats! Sure, there will be candy collected by the bucketful on that frightful night, but when it comes to trying out treats at home, there are plenty of healthy snacks that we can serve up to our little boys and ghouls. From witch's fingers made of cookies and almonds, to Jell-o brains, there are plenty of recipes for tasty treats. But we can't forget about the drinks! They are an important part of Halloween festivities. Here are some of the best drinks that kids can enjoy, you know, without the "boos."

5 Dracula's Blood Punch

This looks like a delicious way to enjoy during a nice Halloween dinner with the family! Plus, it is super easy to make, too. This can be served "fancy" in champagne flutes, or out of a mug for a more mysterious look about it. Some cherry juice, spices and a little bitta pepper bring out a little zing in this drink.

You Will Need:

  • A pitcher
  • A large saucepan
  • 6 peeled ginger slices
  • The peel of four oranges
  • 10 cloves
  • 1 small red chili (keep whole but pierce lightly)
  • 3 cinnamon sticks

After that, all you have to do is pour the ingredients into a saucepan and let them simmer for five minutes. Then, leave it to cool. Refrigerate, the longer that you keep it cool, the more intense the flavors become. When it comes time to serve, remove the chili pepper.

4 Little Monster Halloween Mocktails

These drinks are fun and festive, and are layered, making them a yummy treat for anyone who enjoys one. The "Zombie Juice" drink is adorable, and would give a little "ick factor" to the drink to liven up the Halloween party!

You Will Need:

  • 2 parts lemon-lime soda
  • 1 part water
  • 1 part green apple syrup
  • 1 part water
  • A splash of cranberry juice
  • Zombie gummy hand stirrer sticks (you can get these from TreatStreet USA)

Now comes the fun, assembling the drink! All that is needed is to fill the glass you're using half-full with ice cubes. Next, add all of the liquid ingredients - in order though. Pour them slowly in order to create a layered effect to the drink. Finally, add a zombie gummy hand stirrer stick, and voila! A fun and funky Halloween drink!

3 Melting Monster Halloween Punch

Kids will absolutely adore this spooky-kooky drink that is actually a bit of fun! It's a lemon-lime mocktail that tastes jut as good as it looks!

You Will Need:

  • Lemonade
  • Lemon-lime soda
  • Green sherbet
  • Candy eyes

Now, all you have to do is pour in all of the lemonade and half of the lemon-lime soda. Plastic party cups are a good idea to use with this recipe. After you add the liquid ingredients, add a scoop of the green sherbet, and it will begin to fizz, almost like a mad scientist's experiment. Stick the eyes in the sherbet, and watch your creation come to life!

2 Candy Corn Punch

If your little ones adore candy corn, then this will make the perfect mocktail for them to have. Here is what you will need for this delicious treat.

You Will Need:

  • Lemonade
  • Orange soda
  • Yellow sports drink
  • A lot of ice
  • Simple syrup
  • Halloween sprinkles

To make this treat, you want to first rim your glasses with the simple syrup and dip them in the sprinkles for a festive rim to your drink. Then you need to fill our glasses all the way to the top with ice. The ice is able to keep the layers of the drinks separate. The orange soda goes in first. Then you put your yellow sports drink in and finally the lemonade. Then there you have it, a tasty candy-corned-themed drink.

1 The Little Frankenstein

The "Little Frankenstein" is a fun and cool-looking drink that little ones will love gulping down on Halloween night. What you will need for it is below.

You Will Need:

  • Hard chocolate shell topping
  • Cherries
  • Chocolate chips
  • 2 parts lemon-lime soda
  • 1 part water
  • 1 part green apple syrup
  • Just a splash of cherry juice

To assemble this drink, first put your cups inside the freezer for a few minutes. Then, on the inside of the glass, line with the hard chocolate shell topping. Let that dry. Then you can begin to assemble your drink. Mix all the liquid ingredients together. Add a chocolate chip to the middle of the cherries to look like eyeballs. After that, put them on a festive toothpick or skewer. That's it, you're done! You have a super festive drink that the kids can enjoy!

These are by no means all of the fun Halloween mocktails that are out there, but these are fun, funky, and will get the kids giggling and enjoying themselves this Halloween!
