The highlight of the holiday season is the Christmas movie lineup on the Hallmark channel. Every year, they play the cheesiest cornball movies about Christmas and the holidays, and every year, we tune in for every single one. It just doesn't feel like Christmas until we've watched a movie about a high-powered executive coming home for the holidays and discovering the true meaning of Christmas in her small hometown, does it?

This year, Hallmark has some amazing movies in store, with stars like Lacey Chabert, LeAnn Rimes, Candace Cameron Bure, and even American Idol alum Kellie Pickler. But this year, Hallmark wants you to get in on the action!

In Christmas at Graceland, Kellie Pickler will star as Laurel, a musician-turned-businesswoman who runs into a former paramour on a holiday trip to Memphis (see, we told you!). It definitely has all the markers of a classic Hallmark Christmas movie, but the network is trying to make this particular movie EXTRA special.

They're for actors of all ethnicities and genders between the ages of 20 - 70 to fill speaking roles in the film. And if you're not a professional actor, don't worry! They're also looking for extras ages 10 - 70 for background roles. This is your real shot at being in an actual Hallmark Christmas movie!

And this definitely sounds like the one you'd want to be a part of. According to Michelle Vicary, the Executive Vice President of Programming and Publicity at Crown Media Family Networks, the life and career of the great Elvis Presley will feature heavily in the movie. Viewers will get a peek inside his famous private residence, Graceland, and his music will be a key part of the soundtrack. It's the perfect Hallmark movie: Elvis, country music, and of course, Christmas!

If you want to toss your hat into the ring for consideration for a speaking part, simply email your headshot and resume to christmasatgracelandcasting@gmail.com. If you'd rather take a shot at a non-speaking background role, send your headshot and resume to  OLCgraceland@gmail.com. Production on the movie takes place at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee from July 9 - July 27. So send in those resumes, and may the magic of Christmas come early this year!
