When it comes to posting some pretty risqué stuff, we know that we can always count on fellow mom Gwyneth Paltrow. Between her NSFW candles and the questionable puzzles she purchases for her son, we can always count on her to break the mold and be unafraid to say and do exactly what she is thinking. Her most recent stunt involved a special tribute for her birthday which seems to have embarrassed her daughter, Apple.
According to Today, Gwyneth just celebrated her birthday and in honor of the celebration, she posted a picture of herself in her “birthday suit” for all of her 7.2 million followers on Instagram.
Unfortunately, her daughter is also following her and she reacted just like we would expect any teenager to act when their parent does something completely embarrassing. Moms are notorious for embarrassing their children, especially when they are teenagers and just want to hide away from the world. It can not be easy to be the child of a celebrity, and Apple could probably tell us a lot.
In the comment section of the post, Apple left a short comment that spoke a thousand words and we all read it with the sass a teenager would have at this moment. It simply said, “MOM” in all capital letters. Gwyneth responded to her daughter’s comment with some cry laughing emoji’s, which is exactly how any mom would respond.
Aside from the utter embarrassment her 16-year-old daughter showed, we must say that Gwyneth looks pretty good or just celebrating her 48th birthday. She is standing there in the complete nude, but has her arms and legs strategically placed so that nothing too revealing is showing. Apple may have been embarrassed but the comment section was filled with birthday wishes and comments on how good she looks. Courteney Cox said that Gwyneth was a beautiful girl and was inspiring to all.
Right before Gwyneth posted the birthday picture, she uploaded a short video for a new body product by her company, Goop. She mentioned that “the best place to be naked is near Brad Falchuk.” Brad Falchuk is her husband, and though we don’t know for sure, we doubt Apple thought kindly about that comment either. Being the child of a celebrity has got to be difficult, but Apple seems to take it all in stride, and she appears to be an incredibly humble child. Being Gwyneth’s daughter can’t all be bad, right?
