Let's face it, children's movies tend to have some of the most iconic theme songs in cinematic history. Songs that you find yourself knowing every word to whether you like it or not. There's few parents who don't know all the words to Frozen's "Let It Go," or Moana's "How Far I'll Go," thanks to their children watching the movies on repeat.

You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch has long been the iconic theme song for the variety of iterations of the Dr. Suess classic tale that has been adapted to the small and big screen with How The Grinch Stole Christmas! in 1966 and Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas starring Jim Carrey back in 2000. The theme song was composed for the 1966 movie and has stood the test of time all these years, with kids and parents singing along during the holiday season.

There's a new Grinch movie coming out this holiday season titled The Grinch and it's theme song has gotten a fun and catchy update by none other than Tyler The Creator. Tyler's version contains many of the same lyrics but he's also added a few original lines and an updated beat. Add in a chorus of children's voices singing along with the artist and you have a fun and catchy updated version of a classic Christmas son.

The video released alongside the tune is enough to definitely get you in the holiday spirit, even if it isn't even Halloween yet.

It's been 18 years since Jim Carrey's live action version of Dr. Suess' How The Grinch Stole Christmas hit theaters, so it seems like a good time to introduce everyone' favorite green Christmas character to this current generation of kids. The Grinch stars Benedict Cumberbatch voicing the Grinch with Pharrell Williams as the narrator and featuring the voice talents of Angela Landsbury, Rashida Jones and Kenan Thompson.

Music has become such a huge part of children's movies over the last decade that it was smart to have someone reboot the theme song in a way that would appeal to kids. In addition to producing multiple original songs for the Grinch soundtrack, Tyler the Creator also has another song on the soundtrack titled, 'I Am The Grinch.'

The Grinch hits theaters on November 9th, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday box office and it's probably safe to say your kids will know all the words to this updated theme song before they even get to see the movie. At least it's catchy!
