We have seen countless ways people have been passing the time while they are under quarantine. A lot of people have taken up a new hobby or used that time to connect with their family while they are all at home together. One father and daughter duo decided to do both, and they are helping thousands of people at the same time. The relationship between a father and his daughter is always truly special, but this pair from Connecticut has taken it to the next level.

According to CNN, Dan Presser and his 4-year-old daughter, Madison, have started to recreate some of the most iconic scenes from some of our favorite movies. They have covered Pretty Woman, Mrs. Doubtfire and Forrest Gump and this all started in March when they realized that they were going to be stuck inside for a while.

Dan told CNN that they found that being locked down had a weird effect on time. Every day felt like it was never ending, and they really needed something to do to take up the day. He said that Madison had dressed up one day like an animal and they jokingly filmed a scene from The Lion King. Everyone loved the video and that is when they decided that they were on to something and that they needed to do more.

Since the beginning of quarantine, the pair have released 35 movie scenes and they are being viewed by thousands of people. Their depiction of a scene from Pretty Woman and The Shining are among two of their most popular. They initially started this just to have fun, but they quickly realized that there where families everywhere that were not as lucky as them. There were families that were really struggling to provide for themselves and Dan thought this was the perfect opportunity to teach Madison about giving back.

He created a donation page to try and raise some money for Feeding America, and he attached a link to every one of his videos. So far, they have raised over $12,000 for the organization. Dan is a TV producer for ESPN, so he is no stranger to production, and he edits the videos, while his wife works on costume development.

All of the donations that the family receives are matched by Disney, who owns ESPN. It is a perfect example of a family coming together to do good and help others, while having a little fun at the same time.
