Gal Gadot, the actress best known for playing Wonder Woman, has two daughters. She says being their mother is the "project of her life," but that doesn't mean she's immune to feeling mom guilt.

Gadot has two daughters, Alma 8 and Maya 3, with her husband Yaron Versano, according to an interview with Vanity Fair reported via Celebretainment. Alma was born before the Israeli actress became a star. Maya made her appearance in Wonder Woman as a cleverly disguised baby bump. Gadot is wise to carefully protect the privacy of her children and so photos of the two are few and far between.

Gadot has been busy. She's been filming and promoting Wonder Woman 1984 which will be released on December 25th, according to IMDb. She's currently filming Red Notice. It's hard to balance that kind of a busy schedule with family life, but Gadot does a great job. Sometimes, she feels guilty, though.

She'd like to spend more time with her girls, but she's doing the best that she can. She said: "I can be hysterical at times. I can be goofy. We laugh a lot. I can have a lot of patience, but then when I lose it, it’s not great."

"I think that every mom can relate to this, that once you have a baby, you get a huge sack of guilt, which is something that I’m dealing with all the time. But I realized I can only try and be the best version of a mom that I can be. So I just try to do my best and give them everything that I can."

She's doing a great job. She's guiding Alma, who's in third grade, through distance learning. The actress speaks both English and Hebrew with her children so they're bilingual. She helps them sleep soundly each night with guided meditations. She shared a photo of a bike ride with her daughter on Facebook.

She has a strong connection to her daughters and they always talk about how they're feeling. "I'm very connected to them and I’m very warm, and I make sure to keep the channels of communication open and we always talk about feelings and stuff like that. And then sometimes I let go and don’t interrupt them because I’ve learned when you’re too involved you can actually create problems."

Even though Gal Gadot has a resume that many of us can only dream of, it turns out she's a mom just like the rest of us. We can all relate to the guilt and insecurities she feels when balancing her work and her role as a mother. We can also identify with the feeling of deep connection with our children no matter how many hours we've been at the job.
