It's hard to accept that after five seasons, Fuller House is ending its run. The show, which is a sequel to the ever popular '90s show Full House brought some of our favorite childhood characters back into our lives. Just like we have, DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy have grown up. And bringing a little nostalgia into our lives is always a good thing. In the last five seasons, these three characters have experienced loss, growth and love, all with the show's signature heart and humor. Saying goodbye to the characters of Fuller House isn't going to be easy, but thankfully we still have a few episodes left before we have to.

Moms.com was lucky enough to talk to the stars of the show, Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner-Fuller), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) remotely from the safety of their homes about the show ending, being friends for almost 30 years, and what shows they'd like to see come back now that theirs is going off the air.

Moms.com (MC): "Did you ever think you'd get to do this job again, let alone for five seasons?"

Jodie Sweetin (JS): "We knew that fans wanted something like this, but I don't think that I had any idea that would it would be as successful as it has been. And we had no idea how the fans would respond and that we would get to do five seasons. That was huge."

MC: "What was it like going into season five, knowing it was going to be the last?"

Andrea Barber (AB): "I remember the first table read we did for season five, there was a lot of tears in the beginning. Then we kind of held it together and we made it through the middle part and then towards the end is when the tears started up again. We were very busy and very emotional those last two weeks! And the final day of course was surreal. It was an out-of-body experience. I felt all of the emotions."

MC: "How did filming the end of Fuller House compare to filming the end of Full House?"

Candace Cameron-Bure (CCB): "I remember the ending of Full House  because we have video of it and I've watched it. But I don't remember being present in it. But I remember a whole lot from Fuller House, and it was definitely a lot more emotional for me to end Fuller House because it was a different time in my life. [with Full House] I was 18 and ready to move on and go into adulthood. But now being a seasoned mom and woman, you realize how grateful you are for all the things in your life and Fuller House and all the people that work on the show and these ladies are one of them. They mean the world to me.

JS: "For me, the end of the original Full House was harder, I  was 12/13; that was a much harder goodbye because I didn't know if I'd see these people again. But now, knowing that these people are my family and knowing them for the last 30 something years, is just an incredible gift. Other than my parents, there's nobody else in my life that I've been that connected to."

MC: "How do you balance being a present mom and filming the show?"

CCB: "Jodie and Andrea have the younger kids; mine are older. But still, you don't want work to overpower your family time at home. So it's still unwinding after work, coming home and being present with your family. It's not always easy at times, but we moms do it. We work it out."

JS: "Our kids did come to set a lot. They'd be there for better or worse. But knowing we could do that and that our kids were such a part of this Fuller House family, that meant the world to me and to them. They felt so included in that piece of my life."

MC: "Do your kids watch either Full House or Fuller House?"

AB: "My daughter is very honest. She loves Fuller House, but she'll call me out. She'll be like, 'Mom, that isn't funny' or 'Mom you look ridiculous in that outfit.' So there's no chance that I'm going to get a big ego, because my daughter will bring me right down."

JS: "Mine don't even want to watch the show, they're like, 'nah, it's not really our thing Mom.' It's fine, because they'd probably critique it anyway."

CCB: "My  boys don't really watch either. But my daughter Natasha, watches Fuller House with me. She's an actress and was on one of the last nine episodes. That was also a highlight -- to work on the show that's meant the most in my life and have my daughter be apart of it as a working actor. That was incredible."

MC: "If you could bring back any show you weren't on, which one would it be?"

JS: My So-Called Life, because I think it was one of the most real looks at high school, particularly in the 90s.

AB: I would bring Felicity, because that was my favorite show. I was overly invested in the characters and I will always be Team Ben.

CCB: I'm gonna ride the sitcom train because I would love to see The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air come back. That would be the best reboot.

MC: "What was your favorite memory of filming the Fuller House finale?"

JS: "That week was so insane, but the wedding. All three of us together in the wedding dresses, that was an awesome moment."

CCB: "That was mine too. Putting on that dress and seeing you ladies [Sweetin and Barber] in your dresses. That whole day was so special."

AB: :I enjoyed the minister. I wanted to get the minister's phone number, but I was too shy and tongue-tied."
