Many say that celebrities are just like everyone else, they eat and sleep just like everyone else, and, for celeb moms, they give birth almost like everyone else.

Yet, hospital births are so last season, so, for these moms, only strange, unexpected, and all-out weird places and instances will do for how they want to bring their little ones into the world. How else could one explain giving a child a name like 'Ever' or 'Auto Pilot?' We compiled a list of the weirdest places and strangest situations celebrity moms have delivered their children. 10 The Closet Birth

“I accidentally gave birth at home last night, in our master closet,” wrote reality TV star Jade Roper from The Bachelor on her social media account. At least the star had a lot of room to maneuver in her master closet, she was said to have been clutching a bench and the wall while pushing out her daughter.

At least she got to deliver her baby surrounded by her favorite fashions. The star was very thankful that her mother in law and other family members were present for the birth.

9 The Lobby Birth

Seth Meyer, the talk show host of Late Night announced on live TV that his amazing wife Alexi Ashe gave birth in the lobby of their apartment building. He joked that it looked like they were smuggling a baby on a plane since her sons head was in her sweatpants before they could reach the car, he said. Talk about an impatient baby.

The thing is, doctors often tell new parents to wait until labor progresses before coming to the hospital, I guess they just waited a bit too long.

8 The Parking Lot Birth

Jess Carson's Wife gave birth to their son Parker in the hospital parking lot. Sometimes the baby can't even wait to get inside the hospital. This story is just telling; when it's time, it's time. Their son is happy and healthy now.

The guitarist said he had parked the car just in time to head to the passenger side door and the baby was already out. Now that is a way to make an entrance! But with a musician for a dad, what other way is there?

7 The Public Birth

We've heard of couples filming the birth of their children, but reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has us all beat. The star decided to film the birth of her first two children in 2009 and 2012 as part of the hit show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, for millions to see.

It got pretty graphic as the star reached down and pulled out BOTH of her children. She demonstrated her strength and the overall love she had for her children, despite screaming out a few times.

6 The Bathtub Birth

Supermodels give birth too—just not like everyone else, apparently. Gisele Bundchen gave birth to her son in her bathtub at home. She said that for her, the experience really was mind over matter. "The whole time my mind was focused in each contraction on the thought 'my baby is closer to coming out,'" Bundchen said in an interview. "It wasn't like, 'this is so painful.' So I transformed that intense feeling into a hope of seeing him." What a powerful story.

5  The Rural Birth

Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie is famous for many things including world travel and philanthropic endeavors. While in Namibia, the actress gave birth to her daughter Shiloh, she flew her OB 9,700 miles to deliver her baby from Los Angeles—talk about commitment.

The actress still notes the birth of her daughter was one of the most powerful experiences of her life. She, later on, had her son via C-section which she stated was not a bad thing.

4 The Live Concert Birth

Diva, singer, and pop icon Mariah Carey delivered her twins in a hospital... to the recording of her 1995 live concert because she wanted them to come into the world at the moment of the applause. Her then-husband Nick Cannon was instructed to hold the camera and to make sure the lighting was just right, according to Parents.com.

The singer is certainly over the top, but, when she has been quoted multiple times talking about how fabulous she is, we wouldn't expect anything else.

3 The Witnessed Birth

Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik gave birth to her second son, Frederick, at home while her older 2-year-old son, Miles, sat and witnessed the entire event from his high chair while eating granola. She said that the experience really helped teach her older son about life.

Luckily he was prepped beforehand with birthing videos, but that is one way to promote sibling bonding. Bialik says a hospital birth was never in the plans for her, it was better to experience birth in all its beauty where she felt most comfortable, at home.

2 The Visual Flower Birth

For actress Kate Hudson, her mom actress, Goldie Hawn came into her birthing room with highlight reading glasses and a flower to try to get the actress to visualize her birth. Hudson told reporters that her mom asked her to "visualize her (private area) opening up like a magnolia flower."

The actress jokingly replied that she never wanted to imagine any part of her opening up that large. At least she had a dedicated team to help her through the process.

1 The Brazillian Jam Session Birth

Could we expect anything else from actor Matthew McConaughey and wife Camila Alves than to deliver their child to the beats of Brazillian music? The actor said he DJ'd the entire time and got "tribal with it."

The actor said the entire experience was very messy, but in a good way. The two of them worked as a team to create a positive environment for their child's birth. To bring their little pride and joy into the world ready to jam and take on what life has to offer. What a great way to come into the world.
