The Dubois family that lost in a Family Feud episode for giving the wrong answer did not lose after all. Eve Dubois may have lost the chance of walking home with $10,000 and embarrassed herself on a national TV for giving a hilarious answer but she is going to have all the fries and chicken she wants from Popeyes.

Dubois and her family participated in a family feud on Thursday night show and they were competing against Tomlins family from Ontario. On a sudden death round, the Tomlins and the Dubois took the podium to compete for $10,000 Canadian currency. Gerry Dee was hosting the show and he told the two families that he was going to ask one final question and he expected one answer. Therefore, the family that answers the question correctly becomes the winner and goes home with  $10,000 Canadian.

According to Fox News, Dee asked them to name Popeye's favorite food. The question referred to the popular Popeye cartoon character. However, Dubois did not have the cartoon in mind but rather the Popeye restaurant and she quickly responded confidently with "chickennnnnn!" as her answer followed by a victory dance. The camera moved to her nervous family and one of them could be heard saying 'oh my God!' When Dee looked at the board to see if indeed the answer was chicken, he was shown a red X to indicate that the answer was wrong.

Dubois's opponent quickly answered spinach, Jerry and his family were seen rejoicing. His answer was correct and he proceeded to get the fast money. Dubois tried to explain herself to Dee saying that she thought he was asking about Popeye's chicken. Dubois just went back to her family podium and her family was dumbfounded for her hilarious mistake. The Canada family feud show later shared the hilarious video of the show on Twitter and it got over a million views.

One day later, Popeyes Chicken took to twitter to tell Dubois that they were impressed by her answer and they would reward her with $10,000 worth of Popeyes food. They told her to DM them to claim her prize. Dubois' video of the show has gone viral on twitter and several memes have been created from the episode. However, some people have criticized Dee's question saying that it was unfair and maybe he could have framed it better by adding the word sailor man in the question. Dubois has accepted the offer.
