There are a lot of things we always wonder about when it comes to celebrities. Especially when they play a role in an iconic TV show or movie. One of those questions is if they get to keep any of their props from the sets? Do they get to pick and choose what they take, or does it all just get put in a storage locker? If they do get to keep some props, what do they do with them? Drew Barrymore has shared what she has done with one of the most remarkable pieces of wardrobe that Hollywood has ever known.

According to People, Drew Barrymore is on the cover for the first-ever issue of Domino Kids and she gave everyone a look into her home in New York. On the cover with her were her two daughters, Frankie and Olive.

She also spoke about a special movie prop that she has from one of her most famous roles that now sits in her daughter’s room. Drew Barrymore started her career at a really young age, and she appeared on the classic movie E.T. and in the movie, she was known for wearing a red cowboy hat. She still has the cowboy hat, and that is what sits in her daughter’s room.

She stated that she is terrible at keeping things, and like many other people, she loses things all the time. However, despite this flaw she has managed to hold on to the red cowboy hat from E.T. She says that it is now in her daughter’s bedroom and it serves as a reminder that when she was just 6 years old, she wore that hat.

She also mentions that when we are all kids, we don’t realize how important items can be to us one day. We go through our things and get rid of things that seem insignificant at the time. She encourages all parent’s to take something of theirs and put it in their child’s room as a way to transfer memories and energy.

Drew Barrymore does not show her children’s faces on her social media, but she has done a parenting series on her Instagram page because she wanted to acknowledge everything that is happening in the world right now. It seems like Drew is all about preserving history and things that are meaningful in her life. It is a way to freeze moments in time and share them with our children.
