Singer and rapper Drake threw a pretty wild party this past weekend, but it wasn't the sort of nightclub party we're used to seeing the 'God's Plan' performer attend. Drake celebrated his son Adonis's third birthday and shared a few photos of the epic, space-themed party he threw for the toddler.

Adonis turned three on October 11 and it looks like he had a super fun, family party to celebrate. Drake, who rarely shares photos of his son on social media, posted the sweetest picture of himself and Adonis surrounded by black, white, and silver balloons. There was even a space ship, made entirely of balloons with Adonis's name printed on the side. He captioned the photo, "Young Stunna."

He also posted two pictures to his Instagram stories featuring a photo of Adonis and his grandmother, Drake's mom  Sandi Graham and another photo of the father and son laughing together. Adonis's mother, Sophie Brousseaux also wrote a sweet dedication to her son on Instagram, posting a series of pictures of herself and Adonis. "Joyeux anniversaire mon amoureux! 3 years ago, I was finally meeting you for the first time, after a long 24-hr labour. I’m so proud of the little man you’re becoming, I love you more than life. The world is YOURS! We did that @champagnepapi," she wrote.

Drake has been notoriously private about his young son, responding to rumors that he was a father through his music. On his 2018 song March 14, off his album Scorpion, he confirmed the rumors when he rapped, "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world/ I was hiding the world from my kid."  He also recently opened up during an interview with Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne about posting more pictures of his young son on his social media. "I posted those pictures, it was great for me. It was great to just share that with the world. It wasn't even anything I talked to anybody about or anything I planned. I just woke up one morning, and I was like, you know what? This is just something that I want to do."

He went on to add that he wants his son to have a normal upbringing and for his celebrity to not affect their relationship. "I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son. I don't want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be, you know, a 'celebrity' that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. I just wanted to free myself of that."

Happy birthday Adonis!
