Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope are back in the trailer for Wreck-It Ralph 2, and this time their adventure is taking them to the wonderful world of the internet. The first Wreck-It Ralph movie was released six years ago and fans are thrilled to see the the title character, voiced by John C. Reilly and his trusty friend Vanellope von Schweetz, voiced by Sarah Silverman back on the big screen.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, is scheduled to hit theatres in November for Thanksgiving weekend, so we've just seen the second full trailer and there's definitely a lot going on. As we said, in this current installment of the Ralph franchise, Ralph and Vanellope decide to travel in to the internet. Once inside they find themselves surrounded by social media sites like Twitter and SnapChat, as well as Amazon and Google and so many other notable brands.
But it's when Vanellope and Ralph stop at a actual 'search bar' that we find out why they're really there. Vanellope asks to be taken "to a website that's super intense and really nuts," and before they know it, the duo find themselves inside Disney.
This is where Vanellope meets all, and we mean all, the Disney Princesses. After escaping from some Storm Troopers Vanellope finds herself right in the middle of a room full of all of Disney's princesses. Moana, Anna, Elsa, Merida, Rapunzel, Tiana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Belle and Ariel are all present when Vanellope appears.
Vanellope, who finds herself confronted by the Princesses who are wary of a stranger in their midst, assures them she's also a princess. The Princesses aren't buying it right away, with Pocahontas asking her what kind of princess she is. Rapunzel wants to know if she has magic hair, Elsa asks if she has magic hands, Cinderella wants to know if animals speak to her, Snow White asks if she was poisoned and so on. Despite Vanellope answering "no" to all the princesses questions, there is one question she answers "yes" to.
"Do people assume all your problems got solved because a big strong man showed up?" Rapunzel asked Vanellope.
"Yes!" Vanellope exclaims! "What is up with that?"
That's all it takes for all the princesses to be in agreement. "She is a princess!" they shout together.
Hopefully, this will be the girl power movie we need to see from Disney, with the princesses and Vanellope working together with Ralph to find the part they need to fix Vanellope's arcade game Sugar Rush before it's retired permanently.
Wreck-It Ralph will be in theaters on November 21, 2018.
