There are Disney people, and then there are DISNEY people. You might love the movies and the parks and all the merchandise. But do you live and breathe Disney? Can you recite every ride and hotel at each park? Can you recall where every bathroom and quiet spot is located in the parks, just from memory? Do you all your friends come to you for advice or guidance or help when planning their own Disney vacations? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you might have what it takes to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is a team of park experts dedicated to sharing their knowledge and helping future Mouse House visitors have the best Disney vacation ever. Every year, the panel opens up for applications for the following year's panel. Competition is stiff, but if you think you have what it takes, here's what you need to know about throwing your mouse ears in the ring.

Don't let the name fool you - the Disney Parks Moms Panel isn't open to just moms! Anyone who's an expert on all things Disneyland and Disney World has a shot. Because Disney isn't just for families! Each panelist will specialize in either Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, or Disney Vacation Club. You have to know exactly what it takes to make a Disney vacation or park visit the most magical it can be, and be able to share that valuable information with people.

The positions on the panel are unpaid, but panelists do get to go to Disney World in December for training, and each panelist will receive a free trip to either Disneyland or Disney World for themselves and up to three family members. It's a pretty significant time commitment, too. Aside from the trip to Florida, panelists will need to be able to devote time to answer between 10-20 questions a week from people seeking their expertise. Still think you have what it takes? You can read the full list of requirements here.

You have to be at least 18 years old, and have visited either Disneyland or Disney World in the last 12 months. Applications are open from noon EDT on September 5th through noon EDT September 12. But act fast - there are only a few spots, and thousands of applications are submitted every year. Best of luck!
