Teachers Can Get Huge Discounts At Disney World Hotels

The teacher appreciation discount rates apply for reservations beginning May 27 and are valid until September 3, 2019, based on availability.

Summer vacation is almost here and while your kids are counting down the days to when they can finally hang up the backpacks and homework, so are the teachers! No one deserves their summer vacation quite as much as teachers do, which is why Disney is offering up a special deal just for teachers at select Disney World hotels this summer.

Both the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort and Disney Springs Resort Area hotels offer discounted rates for teachers to show their appreciation for those long hard months during the school year! There are a total of seven different resorts and hotels in the Disney Springs resort area that are offering discounts for teachers and school support staff, according to Travel & Leisure.

Teachers who participate with their students in one of the Disney Youth Series Education Classes are also eligible for certain discounts as well. In addition to special room rates starting as low as $75 a night for teachers and support staff, they will also receive magical benefits including Extra Magic Hours and 60-day Fastpass+ service with valid Disney Theme Park tickets.

There are a variety of hotel options for teachers to choose from if they want to capitalize on these special rates, from a Holiday Inn to a Hilton Hotels and DoubleTree Suites. Not only will teachers who stay at one of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels get discounted rates, but they'll also receive transportation to the parks from their hotel, the option to purchase theme park tickets at the hotel, and the ability to book restaurant and dinner show reservations at the hotel as well.
