Fantasy and princess-loving toddlers aren’t the only ones who get to play dress up in Disney now. That’s because moms can get in all of the action too, as Walt Disney World is offering Adult Princess Makeovers for fans of all ages.
According to TODAY, Character Couture Makeovers are giving Walt Disney World guests a chance to live out their biggest princess fantasies with several different packages that include hair, makeup and nail designs.
Now, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Disney is offering moms and fans from all different walks of life an opportunity to dress up as Belle, Ariel, or Mulan for a day. After all, where else in this world can you hang out with a life-sized mouse, spin your way around a teacup and eat treats so loaded with sugar, you’ll feel like melting in the rain?
👧👩🏽🙋🏼🌷😻👸👸🏼👸🏾👸🏻. . . Here’s the best part about the Character Couture Makeovers: the packages start at a reasonable rate of $120. Of course, there are cheaper packages available, should you not want some of the services that are offered. Now, for some families $120 might not sound like a reasonable rate, but compared to some of the Disney princess packages that are offered to kids, it does sound like a more affordable and attractive price. Many packages at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in both Disney Springs and the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida can run up to $200 if not more.
Joseph Motowidlak, the guest experiences manager at Senses Spa, says one of the reasons why the Character Couture Makeover sounds so enticing for adult princess fans is because it’s more customizable than other makeover options.
Mr. Motowidlak told The Today Show in an interview, “Our stylists have an extensive color palette to work with and clients get to talk through their vision for their look with their stylist — whether that’s something subtle or more dramatic. Truly, the sky is the limit.”
So far fans seem to have a lot of positive things to say about the makeovers, as it has been getting rave reviews online. The best part about the makeovers is that they are tastefully done, making you look like the adult version of a princess, rather than a toddler one with sprinkled fairy dust all over your hair.
Now, if only we can get our Prince Charming to participate for the makeovers we’d be all set, right?
