The exact age difference between Katharine and David is 34 years. Katharine is a successful musician and actress and David is a world-renowned record producer. David Foster has three daughters, Sara, Erin, and Jordan and they are all older than Katherine, their stepmother. Many would assume that they would have concerns with their father dating someone who is the same age as them.
According to PEOPLE, they do have one problem with Katharine, and they are leting everyone know. They have said that the biggest issue they have with Katharine is “how hot she is.” Erin, one of his daughters, says that when she comes over for Sunday dinner, she just hopes that Katharine does not get in a bathing suit. “Her body is insane” is what Erin said.
She said that David will bring up the idea of going swimming, and they all dread seeing their stepmother in a bikini. Sara also spoke up about it and said that they are constantly watching their own husbands “ogling her” whenever they are together. Of course, this is all light-hearted and they do all really love Katharine.
The pair met when David was a mentor to her in 2006 on American Idol. The two married in 2019, and the daughters say that since then she has only been a positive addition to their lives. They said that Katharine has really helped their father open up and be more expressive with his feelings.
