For those who like to spend a lot of time cooking, the KitchenAid stand mixer is the holy grail of kitchen appliances. A KitchenAid stand mixer can make things from cakes to sausages to pasta. But anyone who has ever coveted the mixer knows they're incredibly pricey. And if you're lucky enough to have one, there is a woman who custom paints KitchenAid stand mixers and holy cow. Nicole Dinardo creates magic on something that is already pretty magical. And her hand painted creations have gained her attention from people like Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman) and Oprah.

Nicole Dinardo's company, Un Amore Custom Designs will put just about anything on your KitchenAid stand mixer. On her website, she explains that she will not paint anything that violates copyrights. This includes sports team logos, comic book characters, Hello Kitty, and anything Disney related. She also refrains from doing portraits, as they can be very complicated and time consuming.

If you take a glance through her portfolio, you can see that a lot of her designs include florals and they are all stunning. She actually got her start with painting florals on Ree Drummond's KitchenAid mixers. If you've ever seen an episode of The Pioneer Woman, you've most likely seen Dinardo's work.

"I have to have done thousands," Nicole tells Delish. "I used to number them all but I stopped, I think I stopped at like 500." Some of those thousands belong to celebrities like Khloé Kardashian, Britney Spears and Beyoncé, and cooks like Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri. And her custom painted KitchenAid stand mixers were even included in the Oscar swag bags for nominees and presenters in 2012.

So, how does all of this work, you may be wondering. When you have an idea for a custom design (keeping in mind the things noted above) you can contact Dinardo via her website. While you can purchase a mixer through her, it's best to purchase it directly through KitchenAid and have it sent to her.

Costs all depend on what kind of design you're getting, but since she uses the best and most durable quality materials, assume it's going to be almost as pricey as a KitchenAid mixer. The mixers take about three months to complete, so you should plan accordingly if it's a gift.

If you have the money to spend, this is totally worth it. Because you will have a one of a kind mixer, and that's pretty cool.
