It's been a remarkably bad week for Lori Loughlin! On Monday, it was announced that the TV actress was being charged with several serious federal crimes relating to her participation in a college admissions cheating and bribing scheme. Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli allegedly paid $500,000 to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California. When the charges were announced, Loughlin was in Canada on a set for an upcoming Hallmark movie. She's starred in several over the years, and is considered one of their mainstay actresses.

Upon returning to the states, she was arrested and booked into jail, before being released on $1 million bail. Her daughters have dropped out of school, and it was announced on Tuesday that Sephora was dropping her daughter Olivia Jade from her role as an influencer/ambassador. But the hits just keep on coming for Lori! Hallmark has announced it's cutting ties with the disgraced actress, and not long after that, a source confirms that she will not be written into the final season of Fuller House. Yikes.

Lori Loughlin has been a Hallmark movie and show regular for years, so it comes as quite a shock that she was dropped so quickly. Not to mention the bind it puts the network in: she's currently featured in not one but two series on the network. When Calls the Heart is in the middle of filming its 6th season, and Loughlin is the star. She also starred in the Garage Sale Mysteries franchise.

The network announced that the episode of When Calls the Heart that was set to air on March 17 will not run as scheduled, and they are evaluating all creative options moving forward. But they made it clear - Loughlin would not be returning to the network in any capacity.

As it that news weren't bad enough for Loughlin, it's looking increasingly likely that she will also not be returning for the fifth and final season of Fuller House. Loughling reprised her role as Aunt Becky on the popular Netflix reboot, although she was not a regularly featured cast member. However, she did have quite a bit of screentime in the fourth season, and it seemed to be a given that she would be returning for some scenes in the final season. While Netflix hasn't confirmed the reports, a source close to the situation says it's a done deal.

We're sure there will be more more fallout from Loughlin and her husband's involvement in the cheating scandal. And to be honest, we're having a difficult time mustering any sympathy for them! The crimes of which they were accused are very serious, and clearly they should have known better.

And it's really a shame that she's losing her sources of income right when she's going to need them the most - lawyers aren't cheap! Actions have consequences - sometimes very, very serious ones.
