You're running out of days to cross all those names of your Christmas list, and if you're anything like us, your lists are probably not even close to done. No matter how strong we start off with our holiday shopping, we are always scrambling at zero hour to get those last few gifts! A lot of it boils down to not knowing what to get a few people who are hard to shop for. You know the people we're talking about, right? Could be one of your kids, or your partner, or maybe an adult sibling or good friend who you always have a hard time shopping for on special occasions.

But don't worry - if one of those names on your list is a someone who's a fan of video games, there's still time to get them a really cool gift that they will totally love! The NES Classic and SNES Classic gaming consoles from Nintendo are still available at various retailers, and they are awesome. But you have to get them while the getting is good, because once they're gone, they're gone for good, according to Nintendo.

The NES and SNES consoles are mini-versions of the original Nintendo gaming console that we all either had or wanted desperately when it came out in 1985. The mini-consoles are loaded with classic games like Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, and PAC-MAN. In other words, they are absolutely amazing. Sure, video game consoles and technology has come a long way in the last 30 years, but there's nothing like those classic games we all fell in love with. Since Nintendo released the two mini-consoles, they've flown off shelves all over the country.

But now that they're back in stock just in time for the holidays, Nintendo is issuing a bit of a warning to people hoping to snag one after the holidays. The company said that they are ceasing production on the popular gaming consoles, and once the current stock sells out, that's it. They're gone forever (unless you want to pay a 100% markup and buy it from an unauthorized seller).

You can find both consoles in stock at most retailers right now. For example, the NES is in-stock at Target for $59.99, and the SNES is $79.99. But if you've been planning on buying one, don't wait! And if you miss out on snagging one, don't fret. You'll still be able to access a lot of those classic games through the Nintendo Switch console and a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online.
