Thanksgiving plans are always fraught with what's going to happen during dinner that we often overlook the rest of the day, or even the rest of the weekend. If you're looking for a fun way to feed your little ones and let them feel like they're helping out with the Thanksgiving meal, then why not let them help you with breakfast? Breakfast is still an important part of the day, and it's not usually as labor intensive as the main meal of the day. So it won't be a major hassle to have some little hands helping out. These turkey cinnamon rolls are cute and delicious!

They're also incredibly easy to make, and use ingredients that you will likely already have at home. All you need is canned cinnamon rolls, bacon, candy corn, mini chocolate M&Ms, pretzel sticks and candy eyes. To be honest, the candy eyes are not a make or break, so if you don't want to go out an buy them, it will not be the end of the world. If you really want to go simple, you just need the cinnamon rolls, bacon and candy corn. Because people will know exactly what they are, and because bacon.

First, you need to make the cinnamon rolls according to the package instructions. Just make sure that you tuck the end of the roll into the center to give your turkey a face. If you want to save time/cooking space, you can make the bacon on a cookie sheet while the cinnamon rolls are cooking. This way, you're avoiding grease splatters, and your pieces of bacon will be more uniform. If you wanted to sprinkle them with a little brown sugar for some sweetness, well, go for it.

Then you break the strips in half, because they will serve as the tail feathers for your little turkeys. You'll need two pieces of bacon per cinnamon roll, so plan according to how many rolls you're making. After you tuck them into the back end of the roll, decorating is easy!

Spoon some of the cinnamon roll icing on each roll, add candy corn for a beak (and the candy eyes and mini M&M if you're going all out.) Then you can add pretzel sticks for wings and voila! You're finished. They will look great on your breakfast table Thanksgiving morning, or even the morning after!
