Having a new baby is hard work, no matter if that baby is your first or third child. Being a mom to a newborn is hardly glamorous, yet we often see celebrities mere days after having a baby in full faces of makeup wearing designer outfits and looking red carpet ready. Christina Anstead welcomed son Hudson London with husband Ant Anstead just a few weeks ago, but the mom of three and stepmother of two is keeping it real when it comes to posting what real mom life is like on social media.
Anstead, who shares 9-year-old daughter Taylor and 4-year-old son Braydon with her ex-husband, Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa, welcomed Hudson on September 6. The new mom was over the moon with her new son and shared some incredibly sweet shots of her children meeting their new little brother on her Instagram page.
The statuesque blonde shared a gorgeous shot of her and Anstead looking lovingly at their newborn, with Christina looking as beautiful as ever.
While fans were thrilled to see pictures of Hudson, it was a recent photo of Anstead and her newborn that had many applauding the home design expert. The picture shows Christina holding her newborn son as she gets in-home highlights done on her hair, complete with foils still in, as breast milk leaks down the front of her tank top as she's laying in her bed without any makeup on. She simply captioned the picture #MOMLIFE and fans couldn't help but relate.
Commenters took to the comment section to praise the new mom for showing the "real" side of parenting that many celebrities seem to hide. "Thanks for showing us “real life” as a new mom and not posting fake pictures that celebs usual post that makes the rest of us new moms feel like 💩 . So refreshing!!!" wrote one fan. "Real, raw, true!" wrote another. " So much truth in one picture," wrote another while one fan added, "Thank you for keeping it real #momlife is the best!"
"Thank you for not just showing the glam, but showing the real!" added another fan.
It's always refreshing when celebrities post pictures that fans can relate to instead of glammed up selfies. We love Christina and Ant and we love to see pictures of their new family. Keep them coming!
