There are few things better than getting to spend a weekend with some of your best girlfriends. But if that weekend ends in an adventure involving the sheriff's department, chances are it's one for the record books. It's hard to know if these four women knew that their fun girls' weekend was going to end up with the sheriff, but they still had fun. So, just what happened to end up with four women needing to call the sheriff you ask? Well, their giant unicorn pool float got stuck in the middle of some weeds in a Minnesota lake, and the sheriff had to rope them in and bring them back to shore.

Naturally, any good girls' weekend on a lake should involve a giant unicorn float. It just makes for some sort of crazy story. And this one doesn't disappoint. The good thing is that the Chisago County sheriff's office were super good sports about the whole thing. It's easy to get annoyed by something that seems so trivial, but given what they do for a living, rescuing four women on a giant unicorn is likely a refreshing change of pace. In the video, shared by the Chisago County Sheriff's Department, you can see that everyone is having a genuinely good time. You can also see that the sheriff has some pretty fine roping skills!

In the video, you can see that the women have paddles, but look at all those weeds. There was no way they were ever going to be able to get out of that on their own. And since they were on a giant float in the middle of Chisago County Lake, they didn't have cell phones to call for help.

They were extremely lucky that the sheriff just happened to drive by while they were trying to get back to the dock. We can only imagine what must have been going through the sheriff's head when he drove by and saw a giant unicorn floating aimlessly in the middle of the lake.

Now the sheriff can add unicorn wrangler to his job description. "#wherestheglitter" was the hashtag included in the now viral tweet. We're sure the ladies gave him a big glittery rainbow hug when they were finally rescued. Now they know, if you're going to take your unicorn out to the lake, make sure there are no weeds first!
