Chelsea Houska DeBoer has long been a fan favorite with MTV audiences. After first being introduced on their hit series 16 and Pregnant, DeBoer is now a member of the Teen Mom 2 cast. DeBoer has been open and honest about her journey as a teen mom to her current life as a happily married mother of three and bag designer, and she recently revealed that since the birth of her third child, daughter Layne, that she has been experiencing severe anxiety attacks.
Back in May, DeBoer opened up to E! News about how the birth of Layne and a burglary at her home while on vacation have seemed to contribute to her growing anxiety. "Around six months postpartum, I started experiencing some—I would say—pretty severe anxiety attacks and I think it was a mixture of postpartum and the robbery," she said.
"I think it was a mixture of a lot of things." She also added that she spoke openly about her anxiety on Teen Mom 2 so other women would know they aren't alone. "I think it's really common and it's not something a lot of women talk about. I thought it was important to bring it up on the show."
In a clip from this week's season premiere of Teen Mom 2, DeBoer experiences another scary panic attack leaving the mom of three frightened and frustrated. The clip shows DeBoer and her husband Cole, traveling four hours to bring Chelsea's oldest daughter Aubree to a JoJo Siwa concert. She is traveling with Cole, her three children and her mother Mary who has come along to watch Layne and the couple's 2-year-old son Watson while both Chelsea and Cole bring Aubree to the concert. During the ride, Chelsea asks Cole to pull the car over because she's on the verge of a panic attack.
Chelsea commented on the post, writing, "Anyone else experience this before going to large events?! I’m such an introvert...seems like it’s just getting worse as I get older"

Many fans commented that they have experienced the same sort of situation, with Chelsea writing back stating, " I never know what is going to set it off," and "I don’t think a lot of people really understand unless they’ve been through it."
Thankfully Chelsea and her family were able to make it to Minneapolis and Aubree was able to go to the concert and have an incredible night with her parents.
Chelsea told E! that her husband Cole has also been a huge supporter of hers. "Oh my gosh, [Cole] is definitely patient and sweet and understanding so I'm very lucky and I hope others can have someone who supports them like he has for me," she said.
The new season of Teen Mom 2 premieres tonight, Tuesday, September 10 at 8pm EST on MTV.
