Cheez-It Just Released A New Box That Comes With WINE

Cheez-It And House Wine collaborated on a product to give us wine and cheez-it pairings perfect for our picnic or self-care time alone.

Cheez-Its are the staple of many cupboards (and hearts). Those deliciously moorish little crackers are often the highlight of many nights, with tired feet kicked up and Netflix turned on. We didn't think our favorite snacks could get any better, but apparently, we couldn't be more wrong. Cheez-It has teamed up with House Wine to gift us the best thing since...well, Cheez-It. This invention is incredibly simple, while also having a distinct air of genius about it. One side of the box is Cheez-It, while the other is House Wine. Cue scenarios of skipping through the daisies on a hot summer day, before setting up the picnic to end all picnics.

The Original Red Blend box of House Wine as been chosen specifically to pair with Cheez-It, according to the press release. The "red currant aromas and juicy red fruit" are what we all need after a long day rassling the kids over the summer break. Jeff Delonis, the senior marketing director for Kellogg's U.S snacks division, said it's been a long time coming. According to him, consumers have been practicing mixing Cheez-Its with wine for a long time. He calls it "pairing", we call it a Friday night.

If you're already chomping at the bit to get your hands on this incredible combo, you'll need to be quick off the mark. It's sadly a limited edition product that will only be available from the House Wine website. Debuting on July 25, this little taste of heaven will set you back $25. We anticipate it to be worth every penny. Once they're gone, they're gone, so make sure you're ready to go. If you're not lucky enough to snare one, then all is not lost. House Wine has done us all a solid and released a list with the best wines to complement the different flavors of Cheez-It.

White Cheddar is made for rose, while Extra Toasty is best tasted with sauvignon blanc. In reality though, whatever wine you like drinking the most will always be the best option. We'll take an ice-cold glass of pinot grigio. Anyone else?
