Many parents' worst nightmare is stepping on a LEGO. It is hard to believe that something so small can cause so much pain when stepped on. Every time a child is gifted LEGOs for a birthday or Christmas, the parents cringes because they know they are going to be left everywhere, and at some point those pesky things will torment your foot. We wonder if the attitude towards stepping on them would change, if it was all for a good cause?

According to UPI, a British charity had a creative way of raising money for charity. They are looking for volunteers, yes, people who are willing to walk over LEGO bricks to raise money for a good cause. The catch is that you have to walk over them barefoot, you can not put socks or shoes on to try and protect your feet. The money raised by this is going to benefit Caudwell Children.

Caudwell Children is an organization that provides practical and emotional support to children with disabilities and their families. Due to social distancing guidelines, they are looking for people to participate from the safety of their own homes on May 31st. The charity isn’t leaving everyone without some protection in their pocket, and they have teamed up with UK Firewalks for some help.

The company has put together pre-recorded instructional videos to give some tips and instructions for those who are going to partake in this exercise. They are going to be creating experiences that heavily revolve around "mind over matter." People will use their willpower to get through this physical obstacle –that is sure to help you defeat this task.

If you are up for the challenge, it is a great way to support a good cause and it could be something that you could get the whole family involved in. Now, our children can experience the pain of stepping on a brick and maybe it will encourage them to clean them up more. The whole event is going to be live streamed on Caudwell Children’s website, and it is sure to bring some humor as we watch everyone try and get through this seemingly impossible task.
