Everyone has moments throughout their busy weeks when they think, "This would be much easier if I was rich and famous." It's simply human nature to have these thoughts. Everyone sees so many photos of celebrities on a regular basis and their lives look like magical perfection.

This is especially true when talking about celebrity moms. Sometimes, there are images of them positively glowing. They look happy and well-rested and like this whole motherhood thing is the best ever. They're also wearing designer clothing and pushing expensive strollers. Let's not forget those parts.

But there are other celebrity moms who are super easy to relate to and get super real about everything that they're going through... and these moms make everyone else realize that they're all in this motherhood thing together. Sure, there are some aspects of raising children under the lens of fame and super high levels of success that make this a unique experience. But otherwise, it's literally diapers and feedings and being tired and, yes, cuddling and smiling (every mom knows that these things exist together).

It's time to take a look at celebrity mamas vs. regular moms: 10 ways that it's the same and 10 ways that it's different.

First, let's look at the 10 ways it's different...

20 Celebs Work A Very Different Schedule

Here's something else that proves that being a celebrity mama is different from being a regular mom: celebrity moms work different hours. Sure, there are some celebrity moms who have their own companies or go to an office.

But for the most part, we can probably say that they don't have typical 9-to-5 office jobs.

Some of them are actresses or singers and they work a few months out of the year if they're filming a movie or making an album. Or maybe they design clothes or products and can do that out of their home. It's just not the same.

19 Sometimes They Can Bring Their Babies/Kids To Work

Have we ever been able to bring our baby, toddler, or older kid to the office if we work in one? Maybe... but it might have been a one-time only thing.

Many moms would agree that their workplace doesn't really go for that kind of thing. And we get it: crying babies and the workplace don't really mix. (Funny... we wonder why.)

But celebrity moms have a totally different experience... or at least some of them do. Ellen Pompeo and Carrie Underwood have been able to bring their babies to their workplaces, and Joanna Gaines has talked about being her baby to her office.

18 Some Celeb Moms Parent In A Strange Way

The truth is that there are some celebrity moms who have some strange ways of parenting. When we hear about these, we're definitely shaking our heads and wondering what's going on.

According to In Touch Weekly, for example, Alicia Silverstone literally eats her son's food and then gives it to him. Okay, so she chews it so it's softer for him, but that's still basically eating it. And... well... it's hard not to hear something like and think, "That's gross."

Because, well, it is gross. We just don't hear about regular moms following these types of parenting styles. Regular moms tend to, you know, give their kids food that isn't pre-chewed.

17 They Have Their Photo Taken Everywhere They Go And Get Zero Privacy

Basically, celebrity moms can't even leave their house without being photographed, and people post the photos online and write things about them that aren't nice or polite at all. It's a lot to deal with, and even if we wish that we had more money or could wear fancier clothes, we probably don't mind not having our picture taken all the time.

If we leave the house wearing leggings or sweats and with our hair in a messy bun and we're wearing absolutely no makeup, we don't have to see that photo online.

That's definitely pretty nice... and a good thing to remember when we're comparing ourselves to celebrity moms.

There are some celebrity moms who sound like us, and there are others who just don't. And why not? It's definitely because they follow certain parenting trends that we hear about and think, "That would never work" or "We would never, ever follow that."

One case in point: attachment parenting. Many celebrity mamas follow this, and they co-sleep, for one thing. Other celebrity moms believe in breastfeeding for a long time.

There are lots of things that we hear about and aren't big on following ourselves, and we can say that this separates celebrity moms from non-celebrity moms for sure.

15 Other Celeb Moms Follow Certain Ways Of Eating

Another way that regular and celebrity moms are raising their kids differently is when it comes to what kids (or even the whole family) are eating.

Many celebrity moms follow a certain way of eating, such as being vegan, gluten-free or any number of things. It seems like their children eat the same way, and they're often chatting about their food philosophy or what they make for dinner when they're interviewed.

Sure, some regular moms are gluten-free or have food allergies and therefore have their family eat a certain way, but it seems like almost everyone in Hollywood is following a trendy way of eating.

14 Celebs Have More Money

One way that celebrity mamas are different from regular moms: they have more money.

It's really as simple as that, right?! While we know that money isn't the most crucial thing and that counting your blessings and being grateful and all that is a good idea, and while we absolutely do that on a regular basis, we also have to admit that it sounds great to be as wealthy as celebrities are. It just does. And even if we can relate to a celebrity mom saying that she's tired or didn't shower for a week, we can't relate to how much they have in their bank accounts.

13 They Have Lots Of Help And Resources

Many celebrities hire nannies, whether that's year round and all the time or maybe just when they're working on a certain project.

While of course regular moms hire nannies or bring their kids to daycare because they have to work, the truth is that celebrities have a lot of help and resources. They just do. It's because they have so much money and money leads to lots of opportunities.

We might be sitting here feeling sorry for ourselves because our bank accounts don't match that of a celeb's... but there are some other reasons why it's cool not to be famous (and we'll talk about them shortly) so we're happy to be regular moms.

12 Celebrities Go On Fancier, More Lavish Family Vacations

We're always thankful when we can go on a family vacation. It's a wonderful break from the everyday routine and we don't always get do it.

We're super busy, for one thing, and we also might be saving money or might feel like it's just not in the cards this year.

Celebrity moms go on a lot of vacations because it seems like every famous person does. And it makes sense since traveling costs money. But even the types of vacations that celebrity moms take are different since they go on very lavish and sophisticated vacations. We definitely won't be able to take these types of trips.

11 They Are Judged On A Daily Basis

Regular moms might face some judgment from friends and family and other moms, and it's definitely not fun. No one wants to feel like other people don't agree with the things that they're doing, and that is something that famous and regular moms can relate to.

But this is absolutely nothing compared to how celebrity moms are judged on a regular basis. They are always having to defend themselves or, if not defend themselves, at least talk about the things that they do and the choices that they make. It's really too bad when we think about it, but it seems like just part of being famous.

And here are the 10 ways we're all the same...

10 It's Always Tough To Adjust To Life With A Newborn

It's always tough to adjust to life with a newborn, so it's not like this is something that regular moms deal with and celebrity moms can totally bypass this experience. It's another comforting thought when you're up until four a.m.

The Huffington Post quoted Reese Witherspoon who shared her thoughts on having a newborn: “The first few months with a baby are so disorienting. I felt like my brain was scrambled eggs, and I think it is, understandably, hard to get dressed or even get out of the house ― you have to go easy on yourself. Having prepared foods in the fridge and freezer was essential because thinking about cooking made me want to cry.”

We also feel better about not wanting to whip up something homemade in the kitchen during the newborn phase. Thanks, Reese.

9 Showers Are A Rarity With A Newborn

Sometimes celebrities say something that you just read and think, "Yeah, like I could ever relate to that." But other times, they're totally relatable and say something amazing (and funny, too).

Refinery 29 has this great quote from Emily Blunt: "After we got home from the hospital, I didn’t shower for a week."

Moms can all relate to this and it's definitely not something that only applies to famous moms or regular moms. It's so great to hear a celebrity say something like what Emily Blunt said because most, if not all, mothers have absolutely had that experience. It just seems like par for the course... and yet no mom would trade it for anything else.

8 Every Mom Balances Healthy And Junk Food

Something else that celebrity mamas and regular moms have in common is trying to balance the healthy food and junk food that their children are eating.

We know that Gwyneth Paltrow probably has something to say on this subject, right? According to People magazine, Gwyneth Paltrow once said, “You can’t tell them, ‘No Coke, no cake.’ It is not realistic. Their favorite foods are pasta and french fries. It’s about trying to augment that with something healthy.”

Every mom can nod at that because it's often a daily debate between pizza and spinach... and moms always hope that the vegetables will win out but sometimes you just have to go with the pizza so your child eats something.

7 They Eat What Their Kid Didn't Eat

As Cafe Mom wrote about, Carrie Understood tweeted that most of what she eats is "made up of the foods that my kid didn't finish."

What mom can't agree that is totally true?! Exactly. Every mom can say that they have felt this way. After all, this is totally what happens. You go out to eat with your family and your kid orders french fries and chicken fingers and is just so excited about it... and you end up eating everything that they don't -- What can you say? Fries and chicken fingers is a perfect meal.

And when you make dinner, you also end up finishing what your child didn't. This is just how moms roll at the dinner table.

6 Motherhood Is Humbling

Sometimes, we hear another mom say something about the journey that is so smart, and in this case, it's the actress we loved in Annie Hall and have enjoyed in many movies since.

USA Today quoted Diane Keaton who had this to say: "Motherhood is the most completely humbling experience I've ever had. It puts you in your place because it really forces you to address the issues that you claim to believe in — and if you can't stand up to those principles when you're raising a child, forget it."

Every mom can say that they feel this way, right?! This is something that is universal, no matter how famous you are (or whether you just follow the lives of famous people).

5 The Mess Is The Same

This hilarious (and relatable) quote from Kristen Bell, which we know about also thanks to Babble, is too good not to reference forever. The actress said,

“When can I expect to stop having avocado under my fingernails at all times? When they go to college?”

First of all, this is great since it involves avocado (aka our favorite food) and second of all, it proves that being a mom means dealing with your kids' messes all the time. And, hey, that's cool. That's what you signed up for, and that's what you'll continue to deal with. It's all part of it. It's cool to hear that even a celebrity mama is cleaning up food.

4 All Moms Are Tired

This quote from Tina Fey is absolutely perfect: “Being a mom has made me so tired. And so happy.” We can thank an article on Babble for altering us to this gem.

The truth is that, yup, moms are tired. And moms are tired if they're a celebrity and they're tired if they're a regular mom. They're tired if they get enough sleep (and are totally laughing at that idea...) They're tired if they were up all night with their sweet baby.

They're tired if they have a busy schedule (which is always the case) or just about any day and anytime. And yet, yes, just like the hilarious actress and creator of 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt says, they're also so happy.

3 Pregnancy Is A Similiar Experience

The truth is that whether you're rich and famous or just a regular person, pregnancy is pretty much the same experience.

You and your partner try for a baby, you get the happy news that you're expecting, you wonder how you're going to possibly keep that a secret until you're far along enough to tell people, and so on. Sure, there are some pregnancies that are, unfortunately, a little harder than others, but that could be true whether you're a celebrity or not.

Pregnancy is pregnancy. This is a comforting thought when you see yet another perfect-looking celebrity mama with her kid...

2 Always Wanting To Be The Best Mom

This quote from Reese Witherspoon totally sums up something that celebrity mamas and regular moms have in common: always wanting to be the best mom.

According to The Huffington Post, the actress said, “I constantly question myself: Have I [shown them] right amount of culture (no), do I spend enough time with each of them as individuals (probably not), do I have the right amount of work/family balance (who knows!). I’m trying!

What mom wouldn't nod and think, "That sounds just like me?" It's good to know that even famous moms care deeply about being amazing moms and they wonder if they are. We can definitely say that if a mom is asking herself these questions, she's the best mom.

1 Feeling Torn

According to Cafe Mom, Halle Berry talks about how it's really hard to work and be away from your kids, which is something else that every mom can agree with.

Sure, there are some slight differences here. You're not exactly heading to a movie or television set when you go to work. You could also work from home or work part-time or do any number of things.

But the sentiment is totally the same: every mother feels totally torn between staying home with their little ones and doing the job that they also love so much. Is there a perfect answer to this feeling? Nope. Moms just feel this way.
