Reality television stars Catelyn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, who are best known for MTV’s Teen Mom series, have just announced that they’ve welcomed a healthy baby girl into this world on Thursday, February 21st.

According to US Weekly, Baltierra was the first to share the news with the couple’s social media followers.

He further stated that the couple have named their baby girl Vaeda Luma and that she weighed in at 6 pounds and 4 oz and measured at 19 and 3/4 inches. The little tot joins big sister Novalee Reign and so far reports indicate that both mother and child are doing fine.

Just last December Lowell shared a photo of Novalee practicing her big sister skills by holding a baby when she met her cousin over the holidays. The four-year-old tot was given the task to hold the newborn, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Lowell gushed about the moment on her Instagram page and wrote, “Omg how cute is this?!?!? My #Novalee and my niece novas getting SUPER excited about her baby sister!!!!"

Although Baltierra and Lowell have had plenty of ups and downs in their relationship, both on and off screen, the couple have managed to put their differences aside while raising their growing family. They even shared photos leading up to the baby’s arrival on social media and updated their fans as their prepare to move into a new home.

Prior to Vaeda’s arrival, Baltierra and Lowell spent 30 days living apart, in hopes that they could better work out their relationship issues and focus on their mental health treatment. While there was a lot of speculation that the reality television stars were headed towards a divorce, they’ve both managed to pull through. Lowell even stated over the holidays that the time spent away from Baltierra made her appreciate him more as a partner and a father to her children.

She even wrote on Christmas Day, “I love you so much @tylerbaltierramtv thanks for blessing me with three beautiful girls and choosing me as your wife. I'm truly blessed by you! I love you!"

So far the couple have made no additional comments about the birth.
